  1. I had them for the first time last year and ate my weight in them. Thanks for the heads up!
  2. The ODK looks awesome as well as the cooks.
  3. Father's Day Meal I took a Porter Road flap steak out of the freezer. Never had that cut but it is similar to flank/skirt and looks like a huge skirt steak. It didn't disappoint. Started with some beverages including this margarita I made for the wife. Next up, put this huge steak on the 23". Took it to just over 120 or so and removed it while the 23 went nuclear. Got a nice sear. Sliced it up. Plated with some chimichurri and box mac n' cheese (It is fathers day and I'm pleasing all palates) And this was a nice instagram post from my daughter. She really knows me.
  4. Great setting to enjoy the kk! It is gorgeous.
  5. Looks pretty big compared to the one on my 23. Make sure you get some pics of that BB rotisserie loaded up!
  6. Nice video! My only critique is we were two thirds through the video before the first beer made its appearance. Otherwise, well done!
  7. The tropical regions of Norfolk look to be having a great banana crop this year. Now if I can just get some coffee plants going.
  8. Why does the goat get to eat first?
  9. Dang, now I have to cancel lunch.
  10. Awesome! The weekend is looking up!
  11. I can't wait to see this one. That black pebble is a thing of beauty. Gave you a follow on instagram too for the bonus pics
  12. It was weird, especially after reading ckreef's post yesterday morning. It was reading about 60 degrees high. I'm going to retest it before I toss it.
  13. Looks great! Starting pretty much the same meal 24 hours behind you. Even had a probe malfunction for the first time ever.
  14. It is a satisfying clunk when closing. Great looking chook!
  15. Reading through the entire thread, there is no visual proof of an actual brisket. I'm sure it was good though (wink wink) I will say the ABT's looked awesome.
  16. It's a beauty! I just lean into mine to clean out the ashes. If I ever go missing, you guys need to check there first. And those steaks look great to me!
  17. That's one of my favorites that you make too!
  18. I think you meant to say EVEN better than buying a greasy bag of over-salted chips.
  19. Congrats on the home brew contest (and dinner)!
  20. Really nice job keeping that vintage look while making it look new. time to stock it!
  21. Thanks Jon. A bartender at a rum bar on Key Biscayne gave me a rum tasting and introduced the Appleton as his personal favorite. It is really good.
