  1. I'll buy it! Let me know when you are ready to start selling them. Also still interested in the Koal when you start shipping to the Mid-Atlantic area. John
  2. Good lookin' cow! Jasen she is a thing of beauty! Looks like you found the way to do it. I use the Guru but it appears the procom has 3 probes for the meat? Do you set all of them on 190? Why do you chop the tips instead of thin slicing them? John
  3. Tanks as they get older have a problem with the over flow float that is inside the tank (OPD). Make sure the valve on the tank is turned off. Try turning your tank over and shaking it. Now turn it right side up and shake it.
  4. Mojod will work! We just bought some country style ribs so I am going to cook them like regular ribs tomorrow. Tonught momma is fixn' beef bourguignonne for dinner. Guess that's cuz the mother-in law is coming! John
  5. Clockwise tightens the spring which holds the top fully open. Counter -clockwise loosens it which allows the top to come down, but will not stay open. In my opinion tighten until the top stays open fully, on its own. Over a period of time and outside temps you may have to tighten it again just a wee bit. John
  6. Just in case there are some competitors and other interested parties out there .... www.chesapeakebaybbq.com Hey Whiz we need you cookin' up here! John

  9. The roto goes backwards .... Well it makes sense because Paul is on the other side of the equator and we all know things spin in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere! Gee does it really mean that goes backwards too? Then I guess the question really is what is backwards to who?javascript:emoticon(':smt017')
  10. Thanks Took the forum advice and just ordered five different ones. I guess I need to take a vacation and do some cooking! John
  11. Count me in! Let me know when you get east coast cost. I still have room for a pallet or two if we can get enough people willing to come to my area to pick up after they pay you. John
  12. And you can always freeze what is left over Don't take a chance on shorting a good cook. Smoked pork is good in chili, tacos, bbq beans .... and the list goes on.
  13. And ...... So when can we order it? What are the prices, shipping etc. Is it a box or a bag. Heck Dennis that was a little teaser you just did!

Now you all know I bought the first Pink Kooker It's a pride thing! 'Sept this-un' is tile not paint. You know how that goes when you have one and you want another one momma gets to choose. I must say Johnnies Jammies/lingerie for the pink one really look good.
  15. Either take the bottom grill and put it on the top grill with two bricks or ...simply buy a smaller grill at the hardware store and put it on a few bricks. Remember that no one ever said how you put the butts on. You can stand them on end just as easy. John
  16. Memorial Day Food and Thanks. Hamburgers (gourmet with compound butter), dogs, ribs, and the best BBQ beans using pulled pork. The Maryland summer has arrived with highs nearing 90 -oh joy! To all who have served their country in times of peace and war, thank you for your dedication and commitment to freedom and democracy. Our hearts and prayers are with you always. John
  17. Lump Location Dennis - if you need a gathering point for the fine folks in the NE area we can ship a pallet or two here and folks can come and get it. Heck in my travels north and south I can maybe even meet some of you! The warehouse I use is at the "split" of Maryland Rt 50 and 301 on the Eastern Shore. We are ready to buy when you are ready to ship! John
  18. Wow /Kansas is beautiful ...toto! So do you have Koi in that pond?
  19. Enough of the winter Newest weather update is calling for 4 inches of snow and temps in the 20's at night. Heck it was 80 a week ago! All the blossoms are out on the pear and apple trees along with all the flowers. Looks like the will bite the dust! I guess I'll hug Budda the KK for warmth!
  20. Happy Anniversary! Wow the forums been up for a year. Dennis and DJ thank you for giving us a place to come and talk. The product and forum are both great! Cheers, John
  21. You will never regret it! Dennis makes a superior product, coupled with superior customer service. The sale is never done until the customer is happy . Welcome to the family of KK's John
  22. Welcome Yep a few of us have the other K's too! I have a K3, old indo K7, and the KK Supreme OTB. I still use the #3 for quick grills but never the old K! The KK from Dennis is just so much better! John
  23. Okay take 2 2x6's and lay them side by side coming off the open gate. Move the KK close to the gate and lay it over on it's side. Make sure the 2x6's are chocked at the bottom, lift the KK onto the 2x6's and slide down. Easier way is if you have a hill and can back to gate on to the hill. Wife and I removed the lid (super easy) and moved it around back to the patio. It's heavy but doable!
  24. Card Reader Hey Curly just go out and buy a card reader for $20.00. I'm startn' to think your cheap!
  25. Curly that's cuz you didn't use the cap when you should have. Or was it a bad joke when they put Nair in your shampoo bottle, or did you grow so fast you grew right through the hair .....
