I good set of knives is something that you can pass down for generations. So, when you die can I have yourn? -
This is a absolutely the best wet grinder on the market that is within the reach of the normal people (if you consider me normal ). A great one if you are into wood working and have a lot of chisles etc. that need that razor edge. It will do any shaped chisle, scizzors, axes, machettes and kitchen knives as well and extremely sharp, but probably overkill for just the kitchen accesories, unless you just have to have the best. I'm no longer that way (well, except in my cooker choice ) cause I became a poor man to move to the woods. But I'm poor, happy and ignorant now that I've moved to SC . And if you come for a visit, bring your dull knife and I'll put a razor edge on it for you If you compare the Tormek to that archaic thing DJ posted about...well, it's like comparing my new cooker to my older one...shoot man...it's in a whole nuther league . http://www.tormek.com/

By the way, I did find my beans. I had the foodsaver bag in a grocery bag, which I must of hung over a chair before I went out to work. Then, the wife must have slipped a coat over that chair, hiding the bag. We found it a few days later, just in time I believe. The bag was swollen to about as big as it can swell before the big pop...and huge mess

Like the old craftsman hammer you find in the trash with a broken handle. Just take it to Sear's and swap it. Looks like some good knives. I have a good set of knifes and a really nice Tormek wet grinder for sharpening my woodworking tools. It works great on knifes and scizzors too. With the water, you won't destroy the temper. -
Right now it's about as usful to me as your's is to you. It's in pieces in my garage. Gotta get a friend or two, to help get it around to back yard and up 5 ot 6 steps. No cooking til then. Sposed to already been done, but the friends didn't show up yet. Hopefully by the week-end.

Combined with the screen (for those of us in log homes) it is definately a winner. Especially considering how hard in was on the other brand...GIVEN THAT YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED to remove the firebox I looked everywhere and still couldn't find where it said not to remove the firebox cause it was already cracked and would self-destruct upon any slight movement. Oh well, I digress

The metal bristled (brass maybe, I don't know) grill brushes at walmart at about $.50 or $1.00 work for a long long time. I have a grill scraper that I don't use

It's painful ain't it? But it won't be long for either of you.
-
Yeah, I believe there are about 6-7 containers as good as sold
-
Maybe melt me a couple of them pain tablets in there while you're at it

PC, When I was at Costco I noticed they are ~2$ and the babybacks are ~3$ a pound. I like the idea of more bang. Do you have any advice on how to trim and cook the untrimmed ribs? Or do you just cook em as they are out of the shrink wrap? Check those babybacks for 3$ a lb, sometimes they trim the spares and call the back ribs and people think they are baby backs and jump all over them. 3$ a lb ain't bad for babybacks.

Dude, send me that tough bark...I'll knaw on it for days ummmm-umm

Yeah man, that stuff is good for a lot of meals down the road. And that foodsaver is an essential tool to me...one of those can't do withouts

Hmm, I sorta hoped that, then I saw what looked like a Guru in the last pic...and I know Larry doesn't cook with a Guru So I'm still a bit baffled. So, he's showing his own black volcanic as a tribute to Larry...the original, right? OK, I'm in my happy place now
-
Wait a minute, you can't just buy one of those things and name it Larry can you. Does Dennis have the name list and send out the documentation and birth certificate and all? Is'nt Larry Pork Chop's black volcanic's name? Dude...that's just wrong

Spamburger helper...the only way to go.

Well, we took out a couple of foodsavered bags of that pulled chuck roll and mixed them up into the secret mexican recipe Maj gave us. That with some peppers and onions and sour cream and non-mexican cheese. Dang those were some good fajitas I'll tell you what, I really like the versatility of that pulled chuck role, mexican, beef soup, samaches. It's definately one of those things that I will always have plenty of foodsavered away like I do pulled pork. Yum----my

I thought there was gonna be a really good pic of some tile ladies

Yeah, I left a lot of room for spinning with that one

My wife was puking all night the other night and I had to clean it up...the color took my breath away (I suppose it was the color) so I figured that would be what I cook on from now on. So I sent samples and Dennis is gonna mix me up a special color. I'll show pics when the time comes. Ya'll are jealous of all my stuff, I know...that DJ wants my purdy thang bad...but I'll tell ya DJ, ya can't have a womern like I got if yer back is bad

We're doing that recipe tonight as a matter of fact...with some leftover pulled chuck roll. Can't wait.
