  3. Its not that I can't lift 40-50#, but sometimes my back does not like it and I'm not getting any younger. I will figure it out one way or the other, maybe transfer to a wheeled container. I do have some of the Komado lump and I do like the boxes as it makes stacking them easier for storage. Once again this issue can be addressed by transferring to a storage bin.
  4. Billy, many of us received the exact same treatment while trying to order the Mexi-K. Others got it while trying to resolve defects with their BBQs. You have found a better place.
  5. Congratulations! I came looking for an alternative and found a superior product and forum. Your great customer service has prevented this forum from becoming a complaint center, and your attitude has fostered a friendly atmosphere. You deserve great credit Dennis. And Deej gets my thanks as well for a great job managing the forum.
  6. More like an educated guess in regards to date, based on posts for last 5 days. Just a being funny(?) as far as poster.
  7. This would not be a pure olive oil. The viscosity of the better oils make it difficult to spray, but the pumps if cleaned should work, even though they won't spray very long.
  8. I think it will hit 10,000 on March 4, 2007. I'm gonna guess Deej will be the poster!

  10. Poor little guy Are you gonna bathe the deer carcas smell off of him and let him sleep inside?
  11. Dennis....I also use a hair dryer to push the fire up in temp quicker. It works great. I use an old folding model that I leave in the BBQ tool bin. The meat looks great.
  12. That looks incredible....have you baked one in the KK yet?
  13. Curly's wife may be planning to make a neck wrap or purse from it.
  14. Dennis has been a pretty quiet lately, he must be very busy. I'm hoping he's about ready to surprise a few of us! lol:

Well you fixed your camera software. Nice looking pics. Where is the purdy wife?
  17. That is very funny!!! Definitely worth listening to.
  18. I stopped by LeadDog's family store yesterday and purchased some almond lump. I haven't cooked with it yet as I don't have my KK yet... but it will be a masterpiece ! I have opened the bag and the size of the lump is good, appearing to be predominately fist sized (manly fist). LeadDog was not there, I assume he was off making wine or slaying deer. A couple of LeadDog's women folk were around and they are very impressed with his cooking on his KK. They are totally amazed that he even bakes cookies on his BBQ. The KK has made LeadDog a legend in his family! By the way, I did not see any deer hanging by their tiny hooves while I was there, but the other barnyard animals all seemed very nervous! For the life of me I could not find the home made wine either.

  20. I've been intending to pick some up when I go through Paso, just haven't been doing that during store hours. I have some lump .. but would like to try this.
  21. there are a number of myths out there to prevent men from losing thier minds
  22. Ok Curly...I love it when you do this...it gets funny!
  23. Yea a referral....big points. Way to go. Did you show him the current sale stock? I have a friend that would be his opposite. Instead of saying how much she spent on a KK, she would tell you how much she saved! It was pretty comical to hear her tell her husband how much she had saved him (sale prices) after a day of shopping! He always laughed...what a wise mate!
