  1. My fav stuffings are: breakfast sausage (par cooked), red pepper flakes, and cream cheese; chorizo, onions, and Monterey Jack; baby shrimp, Old Bay, and cream cheese; classic - beef stick, cream cheese, and Sriracha. Usually rub the bacon in Dizzy Dust.

  7. I have the Dark Autumn Nebula and the striking feature in the tiles (I don't think it comes in pebble) is the gold flake. Yes, it's got actual gold flakes in it. When the sun hits it, it's brilliant!

  11. Killer ABTs, tinyfish! Learned about them on the old POSK Forum. Got a lot of good info there before RJ started ruling it with an iron fist and kicking off anyone who was deemed "negative," (i.e., complaints about the appalling lack of customer service!!) I squirreled away a lot of recipes before it finally went under.

  16. As I type this, I'm in the middle of the boil on another batch of Imperial IPA for a friend's wedding in September. It's a clone (copycat) recipe of a cult West Coast IPA called Pliny the Elder made by Russian River. Bride's favorite beer. Well, back to the brew room, coming up on my next hop addition - #2 of 5.

  20. Oh HELL, I just looked this up on AMAZON and it's $52.80 with free shipping (PRIME). Hit the buy button without even thinking!!! So, does this count as owning another ceramic grill???
  21. 6% is a "regular beer" around here. You want to talk "high test," you need to go a lot higher than that! Hell, I just made an Imperial IPA that was 10.4% ABV (alcohol by volume). If you REALLY want to get serious, we'll start talking Russian Imperial Stouts and Barleywines in the 12% - 14% range!!!
