ckreef
Mrs skreef started out by cooking Cats Head Biscuits on the KK before the chicken cook. A Spatchcocked chicken. Dinner is served. Spatchcocked leg quarter. * Cats Head Biscuit - poke your finger in the middle and fill with mapple syrup. * Mashed Baby Dutch Yellow potatoes with gravy. * Tsunami Spin pan fried mixed vegetables. wilburpan
Looks great! One more stupid question from the damn Yankee: I now know that cat head biscuits are named because of how they compare to, well, a cat’s head. Is serving it with maple syrup part of the cat head biscuit experience? Or can you put any topping/spread/butter/whatever on it? I mainly ask because I remember Mrs Skreef saying that she would make the biscuits if Bosco sent her some maple syrup, so I thought that the maple syrup might be a required ingredient.
5698k
Well, in the southern tradition, cane syrup, or honey would be the preferred accompaniment, but pure maple will do. Butter is just a given. Real butter. Butter good. Robert
