MacKenzie Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 I had some Huli Huli sauce leftover so I decided to marinate a sirloin pork steak in it. On the grill @360F 147F ready to remove. Plated with some fresh from the garden cooked beets. Interior, tender and moist sirloin pork steak, delicious, actually the best I have ever had. 2
Shuley Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 That looks FaBULOUS. I'm sure the pork would be equally good with the huli huli sauce.
MacKenzie Posted August 8, 2016 Author Report Posted August 8, 2016 Thanks folks, it really was the best pork sirloin steak I have ever had. 1
dstr8 Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 Hmmm...all looks good but fresh out of the garden beets are so wonderful! Hope you didn't throw the beet greens away!
MacKenzie Posted August 8, 2016 Author Report Posted August 8, 2016 Thanks, dstr, sure didn't throw the beet green out. Aren't they delicious steamed!:)

CeramicChef Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 @MacKenzie - the way you cook protein is wonderful, but you do veggies at a whole new level! Very nice cook and great money shot! Kudos.
MacKenzie Posted August 8, 2016 Author Report Posted August 8, 2016 Bundles of thanks are coming to everyone. :)
tony b Posted August 8, 2016 Report Posted August 8, 2016 Well done, MacK! But, we've come to expect nothing less.
ckreef Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 Great looking cook. Really nice looking pork steak. I can buy them all day long but never cut that thick. I'll have to see if the pork butcher in Macon will cut me a few thick ones. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
MacKenzie Posted August 9, 2016 Author Report Posted August 9, 2016 Thanks Tony and ck. It was the first time for thick ones for now I want to get more that thick too. 1
