Pitou Posted April 8, 2017 Report Posted April 8, 2017 First kick at the KK with my favorite, traditional Diavola Napoletana pizza. I fell in love with it after visiting Di Matteo Pizzeria a couple of years ago in Naples... Basic, San Marzano tomatoes, Mozzarella di Buffala, Genoa picante, basil and olive oil... Bellissima!! I used a pizza stone heat soaked at 550. 7

CeramicChef Posted April 9, 2017 Report Posted April 9, 2017 I'd love a slice! My favorite pizza pie and that one looks delicious. Very nicely done! 1
tony b Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Nice pie, for sure! Good crust. What did you cook it on - looks like cast iron?

Paul Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Looks really good. Delicious. What kind of wood (sticks) you got in there? Looks like it has a thin bark like apple.

Paul Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Nothing wrong with that. Wood pulling double duty. I smoke a lot with oak (black and valley) and manzanita. Both of which I use to heat my house also.
FotonDrv Posted April 11, 2017 Report Posted April 11, 2017 Maple is a good accent to a pizza! Very tasty looking and kudos for such a good first pizza on your KK. 1
