MacKenzie
The fishman was in town at a local gas station and because I know this will be extra fresh I stopped buy and bought a package. All that salt block talk clicked in and I put mine in Little Ms. Pebbles and let it heat soak at 425F for nearly an hour. Then added the fish. Plated.

Steve M
Looks delicious. I thought about picking up a salt block. Do you like it?
MacKenzie
Steve, it is not one of my favourite tools. It does work very well but I find things pretty salty for my tastes. I tend not to use a lot of salt. Perhaps next time I will blot the bottom on a paper towel and that should get rid of some of the extra saltiness.:) Edited July 20, 2017 by MacKenzie

Odd, that 2 days ago my wife went to Bed Bath & Beyond and when she came out she said she almost purchased one and could not decide on a large on or a small one.
