You are correct it is hard to drink regular coffee after getting into home roasting. Another good source for green beans is Burmancoffee.com. Sweet Maria is a great source for information about roasting.
Great looking picture on your first cook. Nice bark and smoke ring. You will have many more great cooks.
I received the coal bowl and the plugs today. Thank you. The plug fit great on my two Polders. If you have a handle of the draft door I could use one.
Have patched the last one a couple of time.
Thank you
Dave
Welcome. Great choice of colors. Mine is the same. Best cooker I have owned, over 40 years and MANY cookers the KOmado Kamado is the best. Very Happy camper now.
I agree with Drunk J, cooking is a hobby with me. I enjoy cooking and giving to friends and people who help me with different things. It would not be fun if it became a job.,
What model do you have? What do you mean by lid falling apart? You do not need to worry about your cooker. email Dennis with pictures and what the problem is and he will take care of you. He does stand behind the warranty of his cookers.
I like using a mustard l slather, it holds the rub on and adds a little extra layer of flavor. The three chuck rolls I have cooked there was quite of bit of grease. There seemed to cook a little faster the butts.
Nice job my 2 cents worth.
