  1. Wiburpan what a delicious cook. That chicken looks perfect. I can't wait to try my cradle out for the first time.
  2. Ck excellent cook. I want to try those too.
  3. MacKenzie those are some tasty treats you created there.
  4. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I am glad to be an owner of the best kamado in the world. Now time for a name. I had three names in mind when I first placed my order but I have since changed my mind. Since I plan on spending lots of time with my KK I'm thinking now of a girls name since I prefer to be in the company of ladies more....no offense boys.
  5. Maybe a KK with at least a skylight.
  6. . MacKenzie, I hope you are not empty handed beside that nice camp fire.
  7. Perfect diamond pattern you have there on those chops. It just makes your mouth water looking at them.
  8. Now that's a dinner. Steak, corn, potatoes and some green stuff that I'm not familiar with.
  9. You got it but you may have to wait till fathers day. So I'm thinking what do you cook as your first cook on the king of kamados, how about the king of roasts a Prime Rib roast on the rotisserie. My butcher carries 40 day dry aged prime beef.
  10. The wait is over. My bronze metallic KK 23" is now uncrated and resting in her new home. I am amazed at the size of the KK, it is massive. The quality the fit the finish everything is perfect as you all know. After seeing the teak handles on the grid lifter I am wanting a teak cabinet badly now. I won't bore you all with a ton of pictures but here are a few Here she is with some of her new friends You got to have the famous crow bar shot A little closer look I ordered a Sunbrella cover since my KK sleeps under the open sky. The cover is top notch quality and I just love the color I picked And here is my bbq area All kamados under cover for the night Now time to work on my Craigslist/Kijiji ad...neglected XL BGE looking for a loving new home...HAHA @MacKenzie I know your waiting on your delivery the time will pass fast.
  11. When I look at those ribs my mouth starts to water...great job.
  12. Just did a 14lb brisket before a little trimming on a Big Green Egg (am I allowed to say that) at 225f and it took 17 hours.

    Fig wood

Just a guess but it's a fruit tree so it should be usable.
  14. Your customers are your best sales people next to the product itself.
  15. Dennis, does a shaft come with the cradle. I want my first cook to be a rotisserie cook. If a shaft does not come with the cradle can I improvise something for the time being.
  16. Would someone be so kind and measure the shaft from the rotisserie motor to drive shaft on the KK. I am trying to cut my own to length.
  17. What about starting some charcoal to heat up the cap.
  18. Thanks guys. Normally time for me moves very fast but the wait for my KK seems like its been forever.
