Robert, it is going to be interesting to hear what you think about the 2 versions. I'll be watching.
  2. Beautiful and with the black cover on the KJ it does look like you have a matching pair.
  3. This would be good with a little ketchup on it, eh Rak. Grilled toasted cheese with some bacon and ketchup. I think Tony jinked me because I did take a pix with ketchup on it but it is not on my card. Or maybe I was so excited about doing it that I forgot once I sat down to eat.
  4. tinyfish I totally agree with you and I'm willing to offer my assistance in devouring it.
  5. Rak, did you notice that Tony puts ketchup in is bbq sauce.
  6. Funny you should mention the ketchup. I thought I wonder if I could sneak this one by Tony but have my ketchup loving friend spot it. 50/50 not bad.
  7. Tried the recipe suggested by Jon and it is delicious. Baby spinach, ricotta cheese and added some prosciutto to the mix. Seasoned with sweet and hot paprika, garlic granules and black pepper. Grilled @ 275-300Funtil the IT was 165F. On the grill. Grilled. Plated.
  8. Thanks for posting those links. I keep notes too. Once you get things cooked the way you want it is so easy to repeat if you've kept notes.
  9. csc, that sounds like, One of Those Days! At least you survived in style.
  10. Jon, your wish in my command;) The adapter just clips on to two of the bars of the 8 in roti. Installed. Then you can change the balance by shifting the adapter into the other threaded fitting.
  11. csc, dinner looks delicious and you sure have a nice smoke ring.
  12. Thanks, Jon. I have now made note of it.
  13. Jon, I hope you made a copy of this recipe. I just went to take another look at it and the "account is gone". :(
  14. That is perfect, Jon. I love it.:)
  15. I want to clarify also, I would not do a pizza cook during the burn in. My suggestion was purely for doing a pizza cook on it's own. As ck mentioned you do need to be careful with store bought pizza stones they have been known to break when used on a grill.
  16. Thanks everyone, that chicken gave and gave, nothing left but 6 bottle of clear broth now. Time to do another rotisserie chicken.
  17. Just when you were sure you'd seen the last of this rotisserie chicken I decided to make a chicken pizza. Dough is ready for stretching. Nearly dressed, red pepper, mushrooms, rotisserie chicken, tomatoes, olives, fennel and anise. All dressed, cheese is added. Sliced pizza. Pizza bite.
  18. There is a difference between a ceramic grill and the KK which is a refractory cement grill and I chuck up the difference in cooking experience to that.
