  1. Thanks, dstr. I'll have to check it out.
  2. Your first real KK cook looks lovely. :) Everyone must have been very pleased.
  3. Soft boiled eggs - start with room temp eggs add to 167 F bath, set timer for 15 mins. When time is up remove eggs and run under cold water to stop the cooking.
  4. No butt news from Jon, I fear Jon has left the building.
  5. Tony, I'll have to give it a whirl, thanks for the tip.
  6. Looks tasty:) What kind of espresso maker is that? It's new to me:)
  7. Happy Holidays, Dennis and Family, KK Staff and to All the wonderful members of the forum and your Family.
  8. We have Tung oil on our walnut dining room table but you have to make sure to read the label and see if there unwanted additives in the brand. One time we had guests and a cold drink was set right on the table. It was left there as it sweated and it did leave that ugly whitish ring, which was visible for a long time. It would have not left the ring had the glass not been allowed to sit there. I'm afraid I didn't notice until it was too late.
  9. Exciting and interesting times, Jon, fortunately it appears that you came to the rescue just in time. I imagine anticipation is running high for the lid opening later today. I'll be watching and waiting for the finale.
  10. It is always such fun learning the new options.
  11. I'd want to taste that roast right away. I agree, the bones are a little overdone though.
  12. They look moist from here too and wonderful colour.
  13. Tony, your dinner sounds wonderful, what time should I arrive?
  14. Is this ever fun, watching all the excitement:) Keep it coming, tomahawk. Every thing is beautiful.
  15. Ahhhh, Cookie, those wings and ribs are going to be so tasty.
  16. I have done sv wings and did a finish on the grill. I liked them. :)
  17. Yes, the hotter the coals the shorter the searing time and the less grey meat along the edge.
  18. SVed fish is wonderful. I'm not a big fish lover but I did SV halibut and it was beautiful as were the scallops. Tony mentioned shrimp but I have never done them.
  19. I remember Singapore, 110% humidity 24/7, a shock to my system.
