  1. Yes, shhh, because if we called it ***** real men won't eat it.
  2. There are soooo many delicious looking desserts here that I would love to sample, like all of them.
  3. This pie should work no matter the meal;) But first there is a problem with my thermometer, it's going backwards it's so cold here. It feels the -21C as much as I do. Pie crust is made and some of the ingredients are ready- Italian hot sausage getting cooked. Cooked as are the mushrooms. Time to fill the pie crust with the "goodies". After adding the 3 beaten eggs, 1/2C heavy cream and cheddar cheese the pie is now on the grill at 425F for 45 mins. Baked. Dinner is served. I've been wondering how my KK would handle the cold of winter and now I know. It performs just like it was summer.

  6. Tony, by the looks that meal had to be extra tasty.
  7. As a kid I didn't like onions either but fortunately I got over it. Never give up Cookie there is always hope. That is a nice looking dinner, tinyfish. Looks like things turned out to be very tasty.
  8. Fantastic story, Cookie, thanks for sharing:)
  9. The last of the leftovers served for dinner today along with a new to me combination, parsnips and turnip. I did like this combination better than the two separately. Followed by sour cherry frozen yogurt that I made using sour cherries from this summer.
  10. What a fantastic idea, tenting on the roof and toasting marshmallows to top it all off. What a great father son pixs.
  11. I'm looking forward to seeing the finale.
  12. Such a stack, let's hope he picks a recipe to try soon so we all can enjoy the fruits of his labours. I'm afraid he won't be able to pick one and get started.
  13. I just bought my KK this summer after many years of ceramic grilling. There is no comparison in the build, the KK is over the top. It is a smooth running machine and with the KK pizza stone it does a far better job on pizza and bread baking than I've been able to do previously. This stone in especially formulated and I have yet to burn the crust before the topping get cooked. The KK is simply the best in ever respect that I can think of and if you too appreciate quality you won't be disappointed. By the way, I'm Dennis's sister, no not really. We are not related. I'm just one of many extremely happy KK customers.
  14. Tony, what a trooper you are, that was a fantastic effort. I'll be trying that chicken and skipping the creamy cream less potatoes.
  15. brett, those turkeys look wonderful and I bet they tasted wonderful too. Lots of leftovers I hope.
  16. Are those the temp. inside your KKs for a low and slow? We are preparing for another storm tomorrow.
  17. Another fun time had by all, well, ck & sk.
  18. PJ, it sounds like a grand time was had by everyone, perfect. The roast sure looks very tasty.
  19. That is some story, ck. I can just picture the slicing.
  20. You are the kind of friend to have and what better fun to have than to cook for a friend:)
