  1. Tony, dinner looks super tasty, no doubt it was packed with flavor. You must have really enjoyed the fruits of your labour
  2. ckreef, what a wonderful looking pulled pork and beans dinner. As for the dessert it doesn't look that tasty so why don't you just box it up and send it to me, I'll eat it for you Seriously an all around awesome cook
  3. Thanks, Tony. I used that mayo idea on mushrooms this evening. It was the first time for that but I thought why not. It kept the mushrooms from drying out and I'll use it again. Thanks for mentioning the mayo idea:)
  4. First, cheddar cheese and red pepper stuffed baby portabella mushrooms. Used the mayo idea Tony mentioned earlier today. This was a slow and low cook until the fire at the end 250F for about 1.5 hours. A 50/50 mix of ground pork and beef used to make a 6 oz burger. A nice hot fire for searing. Searing the flip side. The mushrooms were on for the entire cook except for the searing time. Plated. Nice and juicy and tasty.
  5. Looks like you have a very nice smoke ring as well as some great eating

  16. Cookie, so you are entering into the world of Sous Vide, I think you'll love it.
  17. tony, I cut the bomb in half, put a thin slice of cheese on top and put it under the broiler to melt the cheese. Yes, I agree you might be pushing your luck to do as thin as 2 layers but I didn't cut the root all the way through hoping it would help to hold the onion together. Glad you like the pixs, I'm not sure which I like better eating or doing the pixs:)
  18. I have cook shack and tony to thank for this idea:) Next time I would take even more onion rings out of the onion.
  19. ckreef, I have an empty plate, hint hint
  20. What a heart break:(:( I hope the authorities catch up with the thief and that you get your grill back!
  21. GoFrogs, what a lovely job on those fatties, they look perfectly delicious
  22. Place spoonfuls of yogurt on a paraflexx sheet and dry in the dehydrator at 125F until dry 8-10 hours. Dress with some spicy Pepper Herb Jelly. I'm sorry I only made a half a dozen so I could see how I liked them.
  23. Ceramic Cook, a very nice explanation of the smoke pot, lots of detail making it easy for others to do the same thing. Thanks. I was wondering if you cut the handles off would it then fit in the Beauty?
