  1. Makes life more interesting coming home to a setup like that. Congratulations!
  2. Great with a veggie or stacked on a bun. Great looking cook!
  3. Very nice cook. And dessert too! What a perfect meal!
  4. I wouldn't mind having a hunk of that right now. She's a beauty.
  5. Looks like a winner all the way around! Beautiful!
  6. You nailed that one Tony. I love the rotisserie cooks those chickens.
  7. I clean mine out after every cook. If it's just burgers or hot dogs, I wait 2 cooks. But never more than that. I've always heard that moisture and ash make a type of lye or some other caustic concoction that just gives me the creeps. I use the same type wisk broom that Ken uses and it works like a champ.
  8. Looks good to me. I've seen metal presses before, but never purchased one. Still using a cheap plastic one. I need to upgrade to this one.
  9. Thanks tiny. So I'm guessing you used the pink curing salt sold on Amazon? Those drumsticks look great to me!
  10. What was the brand or the recipe for the cure? I've eaten those Disney World turkey legs and they taste great.
  11. That dish is so yummy looking that I'm inviting myself over. It really looks delicious because I love shrimp. You did a great job on those, buddy!
  12. It looks like it'll take a while Bosco, but it's coming!
  13. That pita bread sure looks yummy!
  14. There's so many good looking things to eat in those pictures that I wouldn't know where to start. Certainly not the gym! Great looking cooks for sure.
  15. Firecrackers!! What great snack that would be with a cold one!
  16. The cobalt blue is such a beautiful color. I was on the fence about it or the bronze. When your setup is all finished, you'll have so much enjoyment cooking every chance you get and spending quality time with your lovely mate and that cute little rascal! Good times are in your future. Congratulations.
  17. This part of the article says it all: "You may argue that sandwich, and snack bags are more convenient, but I'm sure you don't turn to instructables for reasons to not make stuff." More convenient, MUCH cheaper, you can see through them, so no labels needed. Reseal if you don't eat all of the snack. And so on.
  18. I agree. Eat healthy, exercise, no drinking or smoking...die anyway.
  19. At first those tomatoes looked like chipotle peppers. But I knew better!
  20. They're perfect! I just have to make some of those.
  21. It sure looks good to me. I'm going to try that before Christmas
  22. While cleaning the ash out of your Komodo, one step is to grab the handles of the coal basket and give it a shake or two to dislodge the ashes from the lump. During this procedure, I usually get an ash cloud that heads straight for my muzzle. This paddle, sold at Academy, does the trick by simply stirring the lump without having to bend down with your face in it. Then lift the basket out and clean out the ash your favorite way. Here's it is next to some 12" tongs And now to show how long the handle is: For around $18, you can't beat it: http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/king-kooker-36-stainless-steel-stirring-paddle?repChildCatid=140556
  23. I haven't eaten the best chicken pot pie I ever ate yet. Like Dennis, I had more than my share of the Swanson's beef and chicken pot pies. In my book, they all tied for last place. Maybe if I ate a homemade one my opinion would change. But not having eaten one for the last 47 years is fine with me. Yours does look much better than what I've ever eaten, Mac, so I'm not dissin' your pie.
  24. You did a great job turning out a juicy pork butt, wilbur. The smoke ring is perfect on it. Glad to see that you came up with different ways to incorporate it into different meals too.
