  1. Robert there is no doubt that these grills will ever know the feeling on neglect!!!!
  2. I can not wait to get mine either!!! I am just going to keep on keeping on!! I love to cook and now I have the best coming my way!!!
  3. It's every sub forum Robert. Whenever you go against the norm you get chatter. Look at egghead forum. If you don't cook on bge people ignore you're post no matter how good the cook is. KG has become synonymous with KJ. So it has an element of being a KJ dominated site. Shave against the grain you will always get razor burn. KK is gaining attention. As that attention increases the stupidity comes out. Keep on posting boys it's all good!!
  4. I picked up a 2 qt lodge before my sons hockey game. We had to head to Niagara Falls 45 min drive so I hit the bass pro and grabbed it for 36.00. I'll drill it this week I hope
  5. Yeah red stick. I am just referring to a mob like mentality. One I was an active participant in. Seems like if you are not part of the mainstream you get the brunt of it lol. It's all good though still post there a ton but just wanted to say sorry to some guys here that I have had personal run ins with over there.
  6. This site is so chill and no anger or animosity. I really love it here guys!!! I love the guru .... My first love. I just need to adjust not cooking in the main stream.... But now the best!!!
  7. Vince congrats on the new delivery!!! I am happy to see that they found a way to get it to you after the break down!!! That thing is ...... MASSIVE !!!!
  8. Not going anywhere. Just funny to see things from the other side lol!!
  9. I have always been a part of the cool kids so to speak lol on that forum owning KJ. I am just shocked at all the attacks people make whenever they have the chance. It is really sad... but I don't care!!! I can't wait to get my new guys. I just wanted to say sorry to those of you that I directed any negativity towards over the years
  10. white oak is excellent tiny!!! But peach is the closest to my heart!!
  11. I just want to apologize to any members here that are also on the KG. I don't even own a KK yet and see how any post that is made becomes an instant debate. I am not sure why it happens... but I too have been guilty of it in the past as well. I applaud you all for not ripping my head off when I went at you. I have my reasons to believe it happens, but will keep it to myself. I will say when you own the best.... the claws come out
  12. oh I see. Ok I will not drill into that pot then. Tiny where did you pick up your 2 qt. and how much was it??? thanks CC tiny I see Canadian tire but what is the cost???
  13. Ok help me understand this please. I have a 5 qt. dutch that I am not using anymore that I would like to try First of all what size bit to drill?? Dennis says to only use 3 holes in the bottom at the centre. Do I drill the lid too? Also, where does the smoke come out if the holes are only in the bottom??
  14. great question.... I was thinking about this last night and was going to post this same question. Looking forward to the responses Thank you
  15. congrats Dennis sounds like a nice cleanse !!! For all of you who were able to score a deal congrats.... looks like that was a once in a lifetime opportunity folks!!!
  16. I am very pleased to hear this comment. I absolutely love my KJ cookers and had great results with them. I struggled initially to justify the expense of a KK. After falling to the power of its looks, I began researching the overall build quality and was really impressed. Something Dennis said was that because of its over engineered design it creates a truly unique moist environment requiring minimal movement of air. This is true with the vent design. A little air in and the slightest movement of the vents creates immediate temp change. Even though I haven't put my hands on one in person... I research everything to death. I have been in the Kamado world for three years and have spent many nights reading about the quality of the KK. These types of posts really put a purchasers mind at ease and gives you the confidence to move forward with their purchase. Thanks poochie!!
  17. spoke with Dennis today and good news!!! The new batch of grout is going to hit the factory tomorrow and I should be tiled up this week. He was hoping that they would be complete by the third week of September so this may be a great thing going into the third week of September!!!! I will keep you posted with any news that I get this week!! Exciting!
