Yes, I did bring it in! I remembered a post where you and TonyB said you bring it during winter! Then I thought, since I have it in the house, why not calibrate it! I was surprised, it was only about 5-10 F off. I'll have it ready for the burn in tomorrow though!

Another cook that makes me hungry!

I managed to uncrate today! Firstly, as everyone that has gone through this process already knows, this beauty is even more beautiful in real life. Pictures don't do it justice! Here is a picture of the pebble. It's taken with my phone and I'm having difficulty posting, so I will post more once it's in place... Likely on Saturday. Since I have it open now, I'm thinking I might as well doing the burn in/cure tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Meet Carlos! Awesome delivery guy, from South America and loves BBQ! We chatted for a good half hour after his delivery. He even helped me unpack a couple of accessories because he was so curious! Apparently he is able to defy gravity! His super human ability probably explains how he was able to move that KK into the backyard by himself!

lol, indeed the Eagle HAS landed! Pictures to come on the weekend as soon as it's unpacked. But initial thoughts are "Wow"! Everything is packaged so well! It took me most of my energy to unpack the accessories! The double bottom drip pan, baking stone, extra basket and rotisserie are impressively constructed. Good times ahead! In a way, I'm glad my unpacking will take a few days, it's like extending Christmas!
