I just received the tritips I ordered presale. I think these may be the first ones I have purchased that weren't on sale and they are much larger than I have been getting. One weighs in over 3.5 lbs. I am curious to see if the ones on sale are smaller and what I was used to at approximately 2.5lbs.

Great story. I grew up watching him and I loved watching the reaction of the people he was working with. They could barely keep a straight face because they knew something was coming but didn't know what it would be.

It looks like one of them has a more pronounced fat band through the middle. I wonder if that had something to do with how it held up. I think the vast majority of steaks I cook have been frozen first. All of the wagyu I buy comes that way and they are off the charts good.

My mouth is watering right now. I see one in my near future.
