  1. I enjoy a nice snowfall but you're probably ready for spring
  2. Never heard of beer can burgers before but they look delicious
  3. Nothing wrong with that Bruce, looks great!
  4. Looks great Mackenzie, now I'm starving
  5. Nobody suggested getting more charcoal? Get more charcoal. They are both great. The coco char is really good for those long low temp cooks and the coffee char has a wonderful flavor. It is relatively inexpensive to order them now to come with the grill. Later, you pretty much have to get a full pallet to make it cost effective. I've had my 23" kk since July last year and really enjoy it. The only time my pellet grill and weber gets used is by my brother in law because he feels bad for them not being used. Congratulations, you won't be disappointed.
  6. That's how I've always done it. Works really well.
  7. I didn't even think about online. Looks like amazon has it
  8. Looks good, thanks for the detailed recipe on the spuds
  9. That chook looks amazing. Never tried the baking powder or duck fat before. I need to keep an eye out for the duck fat at the market.
  10. Dang, what a great haul. I think if you have guests over, instead of telling them their food was roasted over Russian commie lump, you should instead say it was kissed by the smoke of a Siberian wildfire. It's all in the delivery...
  11. the info specifies it will fit two sizes. What size is the KK spit rod?
  12. Congrats on the new kk. Looks like you have the hang of it. As others have said, no need to open the latch to get the temps up. With the vents on top and bottom open, you really need to keep an eye on it so it doesn't get away from you. Good looking first cooks!
  13. Spun a gobbler Rubbed it with slap yo daddy APR and threw it on the rotisserie. Hopefully, my new rotisserie spit rod will be here this week. In the meantime, I used the basket. After about an hour and 15 minutes at 400, it hit 160 and came off the grill.
  14. When they get big enough to be named after rodents, it is too much for me. I bet pest control services are big in Australia lol
  15. Great looking steak dinner. I feel your pain on getting the pics. So many meals I start with good intentions and forget taking something along the way.
  16. Dang, even the trees look angry down there
  17. Looking good Aussie, that lamb's mother must be part pig Happy Australia Day
  18. Looks great shuley, I need to get one of those new rotisserie skewers
