    I’d say you nailed it!
  3. I’m interested in the results also. I’ve been using the left dial and just haven’t taken the time to see where the temperature would stabilize on the different hole sizes.

    Oh oh

Welcome to the forum BonFire. I struggled with the same decision a few months ago as well. I ultimately decided on the 32 (terra blue). I typically only cook for my family of four, but for those times I cook for a larger crowd the extra real estate sure comes in handy. I can’t compare it to the 23, but I’ll echo Pequod’s comments above. Don’t discount the two zone cooking ability. The shape and size of this grill makes it easy, and that was important to me since I grill as much or more than I cook low and slow. I also have a big joe, and I know the divide and conquer system somewhat accomplishes the two zone cooking but not like this 32. It’s a fabulous grill and you won’t be disappointed. I must admit, I’m also on the fence for some crazy reason to purchase one of the new 21” like tekobo has also.
  5. I was sitting here thinking about breakfast when I saw your post. Purple crack eggs it will be! I always love your pictures. Nicely done as always!
  6. Looks great Mac! I’d love to try that bread.
  7. Hello John. I had the same dilemma when I ordered a few months ago. This post by Bosco helped me visualize the difference in grate sizes. It’s only the main grate, but it does give some comparison. I ultimately ended up selecting the 32 because I grill about as much as Smoking low and slow. The extra real estate makes it nice to sear direct and then move to indirect to finish. I also ordered without ever seeing one in person based on information I collected from this forum. Rest asssured, when the crate arrives, you won’t be disappointed.
  8. Thank you! I’ve been very curious About the new 21. The grate size looks awfully close to the 23, but I agree the baking stone is quite different. Does the 21 come with a lower, main, and upper grate like the 23?
  9. Thanks Bruce. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well.
  10. Wow! I’m loving your mentality. Let’s admire the beauty and white interior, but more importantly, let’s see how it cooks! Thanks for the pictures, and I can’t wait to see your comparison to the 23.
  11. What a day! Congratulations! Can’t wait to see more pics tomorrow. I’d love to see a few detailed pictures of the new 21”.
  12. Thanks Bruce. I’ve been considering having one built. I’m quite tall as well and think I would appreciate it being higher than the normal cabinet height.
  13. That’s a beautiful cabinet Bruce. How tall did you have Dennis make it?
  14. Congratulations! It looks spectacular! As a matter of fact, I have A7502G that looks very similar. I love the dark terra blue, and hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. Dont sweat the burn in. My experience was practically uneventful, and with seasoned pros like Mackenzie, 5698K, etc here to help, you’ll be just fine. Did you have any artwork on your pallet? I had a nice little surprise inside.
  15. I totally agree with Bruce. Pictures don’t do them justice. Congratulations on your purchase!
