  1. I am guess it might be kinda nasty burning fructose on the fire, kinda like the nasty stuff left on a heat deflector - not the kinda smoke you want. Now if you dehydrated them, it could be worth trying. My suggestion is to make hard cider out of them!! -=Jasen=-
  2. Nah, not egg, just yeast excrement...er...alcohol! -=Jasen=-
  3. I guess it is like that with women, you gotta notice when they cut their hair, new shoes or change their avatar - gotta stay with the times. Nice new avatar Sanny! -=Jasen=-
  4. Jason, sorry I haven't been around in a couple days. But yes you have nailed it!!! Man that has been bugging me since day one. Thanks a bunch!!! No Problem! -=Jasen=- Jason, One last request (I hope) can you put the "view unread posts" button at the BOTTOM of the pages too so we don't have to scroll all the way up especially on long posts to gt there??? Sorry to be a PIA [/quote:3nin2fdw] I will have to look into that - let you know! -=Jasen=-
  5. Re: Still Have the RED Kettle Guess you have not had the chance to view the Lagniappe section? viewtopic.php?t=478 -=Jasen=-
  6. Re: I Feel Special Continued.... Oh yeah, women with mustaches - actually this is up Curly's alley! -=Jasen=-
  7. Re: Gas/Propane Hardware Supplies I appreciate the info as it was a pain finding the regulator I wanted, but I did find one locally already. I wanted an adjustable low pressure range (5"-15"WC) and that was like asking for gold plating or something. Adjustable higher pressure ranges were a dime a dozen, but I lucked up and walked into the parts room with the guy (who had just told me no we do not carry them) and saw one laying on the shelf (sad part was he did not even know it was adjustable as there is a cap over the adjustment screw - and this was at a LP gas store). -=Jasen=-
  8. Yup, welcome to the forum TWHARTON! Feel free to make fun of Curly! -=Jasen=-
  9. I would be happy to show you Porkchop, hehe, you are getting close to it now anyway - hehe. Just let me know if you are interested!! -=Jasen=-
  10. Re: Alright, you had your laugh... HEHEHEHE, just for future reference, you started it - hehe. It is too bad nobody else here will know exactly what you went through - darn - oh well, it was still fun. -=Jasen=-
  11. Revenge will come! I am just too tired and sleepy right now. }:-=Jasen=-
  12. I was thinking something very simple for this. Similar to like a cricket basket, except all stainless and it simply slips into the EZQue cradle. I have not quite worked out a door, but I think staying simple here and just using a push-on cap would be the best too. I have the SS mesh for the basket, I just have not come up with the caps, but I am thinking some cheap SS canister lids will work. Course, I need the cradle from EZQue too. Man, I am gonna have so many damn accessories for my KK I will not know what I want to cook! If I cannot talk anyone into making a rib rotisserie, I might end up making that one myself. -=Jasen=-
  13. Well this was my thoughts on it: Looking at this pic - viewtopic.php?t=743 - this is the 6" cradle in the OBT and we also know an 8" cradle fits. While my pic was obvious crude, there really would not be the large gap from the center post to the cage which would shorten the rib rotis girth. This thing would not really be made for entire racks of spare ribs, but rather St. Louis cut. The cage does not have to go all the way to each side wall as I have not seen too many 25" racks of trimmed ribs. Not a clue on the bottom rack, but the heat deflector sits on the charcoal basket so I would think that would fit. But the whole purpose for me with this thing is I like direct cook ribs which have to be turned, and I am lazy. Anyway, I was bored at work and wanted to draw up something - hehe. Who knows, maybe someday someone will make it! I am designing out my vegetable insert for the EZQue cradle now! -=Jasen=-
  14. Just curious PC, I am working on a design along with the rib rotisserie for a vegetable roaster. I wonder how many folks would be interested? I love roasted chiles! -=Jasen=-
  15. Yeah, get one I hate you! -=Jasen=-
  16. Hey, I was only gonna say, can I just call and tell you I am coming over for supper??? hehe Those are some fine looking pizzas! -=Jasen=-
  17. So Curly, any chance you might be coming back close to Augusta - heheh?? -=Jasen=-
  18. Thanks Mike! Sounds excellent! I hope to make it this weekend! Any suggestions for someone wanting to move this recipe to the grill? -=Jasen=-
  19. Don't have one to measure for you! I would if I could! -=Jasen=-
  20. Updated - Pics of My New Valve Handle Well, I had a little time and decided to play around with making a nice handle for the gas valve I have lined up for my KK. I still hope to get a spare teak handle so this is just a test handle. But I think it turned out rather nice. -=Jasen=-
  21. True, and also the balance of the rotisserie would play and important part. If the rotis is balanced, then the torque needed to rotate would be negligible. So I do not think you would have to worry about 50 lbs of ribs on it. -=Jasen=-
