Not bad at all LeadDog....although I think Curly would like it better if you put the non-antiqued YellaTurd in the picture Perhaps one of those interactive build your own BBQ, classic or OTB, you click on a tile/texture color and the BBQ becomes that color and rotates. Thats real easy do do right? I love it on the car sites that do that.

firemonkey...you might actually be able to re-coup your investment selling it down in South Beach. It is a Kamado right? This could really be the break RJ was looking for!

hey firemonkey...how is the 'coral' BBQ? If Leaddog has a Tuscan BBQ then that might make yours Mediteranian.....maybe with a little South Beach influence!

Majestic....I am guilty of 'piling on'. Once the first joke was made I couldn't help myself knowing your history with RJ. I can tell the fence still looks new...its just the cooker that looks like it is far beyond its youth. Dennis has some great new cookers available though...... I have seen pictures of Kamados used as planters.....might work in the new landscape...give it the real touch of RJ.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but why didn't you relocate the snap ring to one of the existing grooves and cut from the other end?

Its good to know there is serious quality control going on. Looks like that one works real well. A while back you posted a pic of some ribs that you did and you had a really cool rib rack. Are you going to produce those for sale?

Looks very good.....grill is looking pretty new... doesn't look like you have had much time to cook.

I saw your earlier post on the Kamado forum and see that it has been deleted. You said you had ordered standard K7 in cobalt blue and received the special RJ customer service many of here are familiar with. As you read this forum over you will discover many have had both the K and KK and without exception prefer the KK. There may be a cobalt 7 in inventory in the states as we speak. Dennis is out until Monday but he will answer as to what colors are available for immediate shipment in the US.

I'm gonna assume you are a better cook than a photographer. The only way I can tell them apart is by the stainless handle on the KK. Truth be told...you are better than I am getting them uploaded.

no photos Hey porkchop....sounds like you are having a helluva time. You should be kicking back with a cold beverage and admiring the BBQ. You can tell us how great it is......How's that firebox? Does it wheel around pretty smooth? Any chicken wire poking through the inside? What options did you get? You can figure out the camera while your butts are cooking.

coco extruded lump Sanny....did the lump you received have any mold on it? A couple of the K posters seemed to have a problem with it.

shipping I'm glad you have it and you like it. I have never had a shiiping company try to reaise the shipping on me, but I have had the originally contracted shipper sub out the delivery before to a very unreliable shipper. I was on staqndby for delivery all day, and when I started calling around 4:00 p.m. the driver said he was running a little late. When I started calling at 5:30 p.m. I was told he ran out of time and had returned to his terminal and that I would be the first delivery the next morning. By 11:00 a.m. the next morning I still did not have a delivery. The driver gave me his location that was 45 minutes away, but did not tell me he had 4 deliveries to make before mine. So I spent two days tied up waiting on a delivery which they had instructed me to be sure and have people there to do the unloading (it was wood flooring). It seems there was a different driver and he was not told of the problem and the product had been loaded to be the last delivery. He told me the driver from the previous day was known to rarely finish his deliveries and this was a common problem with that driver. Then the rest of them get his left over load and very angry people. So even though they did not increase the delivery fees, I lost an extra day waiting for the delivery. Once you step into the game, you never know what cards you will be dealt. Maybe that is why I don't play cards....I'm not a good loser!
