MacKenzie Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Found a new to me recipe and it required bean sauce. Made that with onion, pepper, black pepper, chili powder, red wine, garlic, oregano and pinto beans. Next is to put a little dollop on each of the nacho chips. Next add the onions, jalapeño pepper, and mushrooms. Add tomato pieces and cheddar cheese and Monterey cheese. Now on the grill it all goes, 400F for 10 mins or so. Done. Plated. and up close- Dip in a little sour cream and devour.
MacKenzie Posted September 27, 2015 Author Report Posted September 27, 2015 Oops, Tony, I forgot your broccoli.
Chicagobill Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 So easy and so good I am sure. I appreciate all these beautiful pics and how too's!!! Yum!!
Poochie Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 That one just makes my mouth water. I'm a nacho-holic and I can just taste how good those were. Let's see...Canada isn't THAT far away.
MacKenzie Posted September 28, 2015 Author Report Posted September 28, 2015 I can just taste how good those were. Let's see...Canada isn't THAT far away. No and we are pretty friendly too. Just give me a heads up so I can be sure to have the ingredients on hand. Thanks, everyone. BTW, I forgot to mention that there was a nice smoky flavour to the nachos that you don't get from an oven.
PRippley Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Perfect for game day, or any day.....!
DennisLinkletter Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 I love how you start with a chunk for each chip and build up from there.. Every chip will be a complete bite.. So often only a few chips have all the ingredients.. Looks great
tony b Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Oops, Tony, I forgot your broccoli. You know that I was disappointed in that! LOL! But you did make up for it with the mushrooms!
MacKenzie Posted September 30, 2015 Author Report Posted September 30, 2015 I couldn't resist a nacho snack this evening;) Plated. Nacho with sour cream.
ckreef Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 Stop all these Nacho cooks. I want to do one but my son is not very fond of nachos that look like yours. He might have to eat peanut butter and jelly one night soon. Great cook.
MacKenzie Posted September 30, 2015 Author Report Posted September 30, 2015 ckreef, thanks for that. I think you are safe I've had my fill of nachos for a little while.
