tony b Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Bracing for the first big winter storm here today. Could see as much as 10 inches of snow by Noon tomorrow! Being this early in the season, it will be that wet, heavy, slushy snow that's a major pain to shovel (can't use the snowblower on it either!) Will hunker down with the dogs and just wait it out.
MacKenzie Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Tony, I feel for you, wet snow is the worst, maybe you could do it as it falls.
tony b Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 It's just started. Grass is just lightly dusted. Most of it will be later tonight, so not even contemplating dealing with it until tomorrow morning and then, only if I really need to go out for something.
mguerra Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Played golf today in shorts and short sleeves. Got sweaty...
ckreef Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Played golf today in shorts and short sleeves. Got sweaty...That's what I'm talking about. A perfect way to spend a fall day. That or riding the motorcycle. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
CeramicChef Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Today I'm roasting turkeys for the church Thanksgiving Supper tomorrow. Some of biggest birds I've seen, about 22 lbs each. Could have fit 3 on the main, but I've got until 3:00 pm to get these birds cooked and delivered. Right now I'm heat soaking TheBeast and drinking coffe spiked with Bailey's. Tony, the front that hit you yesterday came ripping through here last night with straight line winds of 30 mph and gusts to 40 mph! Stay warm and throw another dog on!
tony b Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Played golf today in shorts and short sleeves. Got sweaty... I hate you! This is what I woke up to this morning! And the low tonight is supposed to be 5F!

MacKenzie Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 Tony, it looks like you have enough to ship some to Bosco.
ckreef Posted November 21, 2015 Report Posted November 21, 2015 we have a storm front moving in. I am hearing that we should be white over night! The good news is that we are getting closer. Says 3 days to go !!!! I told you the blizzard is coming they just screwed up the predicted snow fall - LOL I'm not worried - I'm sure you'll be out in the blizzard firing up that initial cook. I know I would be. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
bosco Posted November 22, 2015 Author Report Posted November 22, 2015 Buddy I have two bags of lump ready to go for this initial heat. I hate clean grills
5698k Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 You're gonna need two just for the 32"!!😆😆😆 Robert
CeramicChef Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 +1^! You won't believe how much that 32 of yours will hold. But by the same token, you won't believe how little is burned in a typical cook! That's why I have a pallet of 36 - 35 lb. bags of FOGO in transit so I don't run out this winter. Your KKs deserve a premium lump. NO more RO!
ckreef Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 image.jpeg And welcome to Canada!!!!! Yay - the butterflies in my stomach are starting to stir - how about yours? Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
bosco Posted November 25, 2015 Author Report Posted November 25, 2015 Yup they are about to be full Canadian citizens. Just waiting for the adoption papers to arrive from Indonesia to send to customs
tomahawk66 Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 Icy roads... Apparently a pair of heavy items in the back unbalanced the truck on a Canadian road... Bronze tiles everywhere! 😜 Regards, Oliver In Singapore. Soon to be the proud owner of a Cobalt Blue 32 😄
tomahawk66 Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 I'm sure Bosco will get his revenge once my 32 ships!!! Regards, Oliver In Singapore. Soon to be the proud owner of a Cobalt Blue 32 😄
