Rak
My first attempt making a roti chicken and I'd say it was a success. I did try to catch the drippings using the double bottom drip pan, but no luck. Even at 325F, everything was evaporating on contact. No biggie, still a great meal! tony b
Nice looking bird, Rak! About to cry "Uncle" and order the roti basket. Been holding off until I got Xmas bills paid and see what my tax situation looks like. Definitely my next "toy" for the grill.
Rak
Thanks Tony! Its a great toy and so well designed and built, like everything Dennis touches! Its an 8" basket with an inner basket for smaller meats like chicken. I was worried about clean up, but it was quick and easy....I like quick and easy! Looking forward to seeing your future spins Tony!
wilburpan
Great looking chicken! I have to say, I’ve used the rotisserie function way more than I thought I would.
Geo
That's the kind of chicken that has me interested in getting a KK. Something I can't do with my present setup. Great looking cook, Rak. Certainly doesn't look like a "first cook" to me! Thanks for posting the pictures.
Rak
Wilbur - Its true, I can certainly see myself using the rotisserie often. Geo - Thank you, certainly not my first cook, but it is my first rotisserie cook! The KK is easy to set up and use, and it has a tendency to produce great food! bosco
Drippings and BBQ just do not equate to a successful outcome from my experiences. I just buy pre made gravy mixes now and stop trying LOL
