You spin me right 'round baby

Recommended Posts

Got everything working. It took a while, but now that I have figured everything out, and have all the pieces, it is actually very easy to set up. Tried thighs the first night. Will go for a higher cook temp next time.5fa6c30870d358d606cf7e020b19cb1e.jpgand done. a58c610ecdc8536b49b2b83c38665ef3.jpgdefinitely the juiciest chicken I have ever tasted. Almost think it was too juicy. I didn't know this was possible. 699015933306e307dacfc9855aa12fe5.jpg
The next night I did a whole chicken and kept it at the same temp. Since this was a larger piece of meat it was cooked longer and I was happy with the results. 0f51b4cf66858521f79b533f4b0f22ca.jpg853bfee179e6bfb5f09df66b98477c35.jpg83f173e3e4cfa7f6d704e9d028453d2d.jpglooking forward to many more spins.

Nice!  Great looking dinner. I have a question did you get that basket from Dennis? I have the half round one but I see that one every now And then on the site. Or did you make it yourself?

Thanks. The basket was an accessory from one grill that I purchased on amazon. I really like that you can adjust the thickness of the basket for thicker items. The only downside is I would imagine that it would only work with a spit style rotisserie. They have different kinds of baskets as well, that is what made me lean towards the rod version of the rotisserie.
