Peaches en Regalia

One of the best parts of summer is Peaches! So tonight's cook is grilled peaches and pork chops - a marriage made in heaven! Local corn, peaches with Dizzy Pig Pineapple Head, and Suya Pepper pork chops.

Plated with a nice salad with a raspberry vinaigrette and some herbed goat cheese with a Balsamic vinegar drizzle on the grilled peaches (FAH-BU-LOUS!). The Moscato was a perfect accompaniment - peach, lychee, and honeysuckle flavors to compliment the peaches and cut the heat from the Suya pepper rub.

That looks like a super supper.  I have been wanting to try grilled peaches.  You've moved that up the list, particularly as they will soon be gone...

Great looking meal but I it needs another peach or two. 1/2 a peach just ain't enough.

That was the plating picture. Who said anything about only eating the one half?? :laughing6:

I had another peach, so I did a repeat tonight. I'm tell you people, this is a total winner! Grilled spiced peaches (brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg) and goat cheese w/herbs (emphasis on thyme with some savory and rosemary), with a balsamic drizzle is da shizzle!

I just discovered grilled peaches a week or so ago, I would say they are the best thing EVER!!

All I'll say is Grilled Peach Reef Jam. Take a bunch of grilled peaches, cut them up and then process them into preserves/jam. Grilled summer bliss in the middle of winter ;)

I agree. We love Peaches on grill. We put a cream cheese on ours. More of a sweet treat., but I could eat any fruit with my meals any day of the week. Great cook.

I am making sous vide Creme brûlée this weekend for some friends and I am going to grill some peaches for the top of them. I’ll post some Picts if they turn out well, if not I’ll keep quiet and act like nothing happened.

I make the peaches with a bit of oil for the grilling. I then do the balsamic like you but add fresh mint leaf sprinkled on top to finish. It adds a really nice depth to the peach.
