TomRaz
Hello all, my name is Tom and I live in central Florida i have owned or own a large big green egg, commercial electric smoker, several higher end pellet grills, a Weber performer and a large vertical smoker so I have lots of smoking experience i talked to Dennis and he was awesome, I am thinking 32 or 42, either way my wife will probably knock me off Some of the best bbq I have ever prepared was on my big green egg, so I can only imagine how much better it would be on a KK now I just need to find the money and decide on the size and color i usually smoke for 12-15 people cooking briskets and pulled pork I am sure questions have been asked dozens of times, but I am too excited about this product to read all the posts so if you don’t mind what are your thoughts about the two sizes color choices and pebble vs tiles thanks so much in advance
Tucker
I started with a 23" because at the time, it was the largest size. I have cooked for upwards of 40 or so from one 23"; with planning of course. There are many on the forum who own either a 32" or 42", and I will let them guide you on choice there. Tile v Pebble; I own both and I like the Pebble best. Good luck with your selection; there is really no bad choice, and good luck with getting the wife on board. MacKenzie
When you start cooking on a KK you will see a world of difference in the taste of the food you cook compared to your other grills. The taste will move to the next level.
5698k
I have a 23”, and a 19”, which roughly translates to a 32”, but not really. Like Tucker, the 23” was the biggest available when I bought mine. I believe a 32” would suit your needs, but there’s a lot of people that will tell you get the biggest one you can, you won’t be sorry. I’m a tile guy, but that’s truly personal preference, except for the fact that the bronze tiled ones cook the best. TomRaz
Thanks for everyone's comments, I like the ribbing between the pebble and tile folks !
Steve M
The 32 will certainly handle the capacity you need but if in doubt, I would go for one of each. You really can't go wrong on color or tile choices, they are all beautiful.

Tucker
Yesterday was the day. My new 23" pebble arrived and we packed up the 23" Dark Autumn Nebula for the trip to Tom's house. Re-used all of the packaging that the new grill came with, even the shrink wrap (I took it off, rolling it onto a 2x3). Made an 8' wood ramp to ease the move into the trailer, used another piece of 1/2" ply to lay on the trailer floor (because of the ribbing). Screwed the ramp to the crate for added stability and ease of transport. Covered with a tarp in the event of rain. from start of unpacking the new grill to stop of loading the 23" Nebula; approximately 4.25 hrs.
