  1. Approximately 6 weeks after it’s arrival (we were away for almost a month just after delivery) I finally got a forklift guy to move the crate to my back porch (yard is gravel and slightly slanted. No other way to do it. Uncrated yesterday finishing just before a monsoon downpour started. We had hoped that the blue would match the pizza oven and it does! Better pictures later if the monsoon clouds go away but wanted to get this picture of the brothers from another mother posted. What everyone says is true, they are more beautiful in person and this thing is incredibly well built! Will get side tables on and get it fired up soon!

  4. Very nice @C6Bill! Last night was pizza night here. Hadn't done any in ages and got a wild hare (hair?) Upfront - storebought pizza dough and sauce (Trader Joe's). Did 3 personal sized ones - Margarita (homegrown basil), N'duja and mushrooms, and a no-sauce one with slices of fresh homegrown tomatoes, bacon and caramelized onions. Sampler plate with a very nice local beer!

  5. YIKES, Oktoforks! A medieval torture device disguised as a BBQ accessory! I gave up on mine, as I sliced open a finger just about every time that I used them, and you still had to bind the meat to them to keep it from falling off into the fire!

  7. New Idea.. If you would like a more polished look when installing a 32" BB in a counter, these two teak inserts will fill the gaps left, right and in the rear. These could have stainless inserts also. You tube video of teak counter inserts

  10. If I've read this right @Syzygies, at $125 plus tax and postage, this will be one of the cheaper rabbit holes you have dragged me down! 🤪 Looking good. I am OK to go for some delayed gratification. Someone in my family will make the trip across the Atlantic within the next 6 months. Just need to get the goods positioned in the right place for the pick up...

  11. No offense to Humphreys, as they were once the only adapter available for the Billows fan to our KKs, but ThermoWorks offers a adapter to fit their fan to the guru port (https://www.thermoworks.com/billows-mounting-kit/) for $8.99 (versus the $34.95 Humphrey's version). I've used it for 1 1/2 years with no problem.

  15. While I was busy tending my KK a couple of months ago my squirrels planted these for me. I knew there was a good reason why I feed them. What a day it was today and another one tomorrow. Here's where it got the seeds I think.

  17. Made this potato side for tomorrow nights guest, it's grated potato, zucchini, cheese, parsley, broccoli, dill, chive egg and kielbasa...with a cherry tomatoe on top. To be served with a cucumber sour cream dilled dressing. Here's a pic, one batch on the 23 with a half basket and the remaining on another.

  18. Did burgers on the KK last evening and turned them into cheeseburgers with chips. Getting dressed. Melted the cheese in the WFO. Plated with chips. Homemade buns but store bought chips. There was one burger leftover and no buns. Decided to have a burger sub for lunch,
