It usually gets to a local shipping terminal in the nearest big city where you live. Once it arrives there another shipping company that makes local deliveries will bring it to your house. . Once it's at that local terminal they will call you for a delivery appointment. . You should get a tracking number from Dennis that will help you sort it out and give you an idea who to call. Interesting experiment. Next time maybe make sure the dome goes back to 500* then close the vents. (shouldn't take but a couple of minutes) Will be cheating the experiment a little bit but with the bird on and closing the vents immediately the bird probably didn't get any time at 500* Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Great looking seafood meal. I am now in the habit of just filling up the KK and lighting it shortly after I get home from work. Once at temperature I'll just let it ride until I'm ready to use it. Very nice. . I was able to get a matching replacement feeder this weekend. Strangely they don't like the new feeder as well as the old. Maybe it's the new plastic. They eat from it but definitely seem to prefer the old one. No worries once my population gets around 20 they won't be so picky - LOL . Something you might be interested in ...... . A few years ago me and my son did a sugar content test. Regular strength, extra heavy on the sugar and extra light on the sugar. The conclusion we came to is the sugar strength definitely effects how fast they drink it down. Extra heavy on the sugar and they drink it slower. Make a light batch and they'll drink the feeder dry really fast. Needless to say I now make the batches a little heavy on the sugar content. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Pompeian Grapeseed Oil Cooking Spay is the absolute best oil spray. . Grapeseed Oil is an oil with a high smoke point temperature so it doesn't burn and taste sour. Not a pump bottle but ....... Inside the bottle the oil is located within a bag with the propellant between the bag and the bottle. You get oil with no propellant. Nothing special here but I did want to run this test. Double batch of dough divided by 2. Also used a different sauce than normal. Next time I'll divide by 3 and tweak the sauce a bit. Also not thrilled with the board the pizza is sitting on, not enough contrast with the pizza dough. . The sauce was too watery. You can see how it mixed in with the shredded mozzarella cheese on the ham and black olives. On the one with green peppers I used a fresh mozzarella cheese ball that I sliced by hand so the watery sauce didn't effect the outcome as much. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Cook as many times as you want at 350* or less before the burn in. You just need to do the burn in before you start doing high heat cooks. You can do a high heat cook while doing the burn in. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

Interesting on the red and green bag variety. I personally don't like huge pieces of lump. I consistently get better results with a bowl full md/lg sized pieces compared to XL pieces. That's both for low-n-slow or high heat cooks. I know I'm in the minority with this opinion. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
