  1. Scratch the KK off your bucket list...
  2. Hard to beat a rotisserie chicken and bbq veggies.
  3. I dont know the difference would be. I was able to get a 1000' roll of butchers paper for $20.
  4. Could be a combination of both Tony b and 5698k answers. Some briskets are tender starting around 190f thats when I start probing for tenderness. I wrap my brisket when the bark is where I want it, I don't even check the Internal temperature when I wrap. I always have gravy/bbq sauce ready, just in case.
  5. Thanks Jon but like MacKenzie said it may be the border patrol using the wood if they see it.

Outstanding cook!!! That looks out of this world. What a great idea and the presentation looks dynamite.
  7. Good thing for wrapping and bumping up the temperature or else you guys would have never ate. The meat does look tasty.
  8. The cook turned out great.
  9. The second time will be better for sure.
  10. Would love to see some pics. Have you tried netting the tree to keep the birds out.

    Pizza pasta

Pizza pasta looks great. Two weeks will pass fast.
  13. The couple of figs that I have tasted are sweet. Have you tried making jam with the figs. You can add as much sugar as needed for your taste.
  14. Most I will carry down into my basement and store in my cold room. The large one if I can't carry it downstairs I will wrap it up with some burlap and a blanket and put it in my attached garage against the wall from inside the house.
  15. I just started growing fig tree's and I was wondering if anyone is into that. I started by winning a fig tree at a family picnic about a month ago and now I'm up to 13 and still looking for more. Most the fig tree's/ plants that i have are in their first year of growth. I was able to to buy some larger size tree's. One of the tree's has about 40 figs that are ripening now. This is the large tree with the figs. The figs before ripening and after. These are some medium size tree's Some of the first year plants This fig is called Ronde de Bordeaux which produced about 6 figs. This is the fig from the large tree. It is called UNK which stands for unknown cultivar. I hope to do some stuffed figs on the KK soon.
  16. I wonder if Ryan @bosco would like some too. Maybe we can get the coffee wood shipped to Ryans US PO box and then I can send yours to you. What do you think Ryan?
  17. Taste aside the burger looks so so good.
  18. I NEED MORE!!!! I'm just about out of the box of coffee wood that Ken sent me.
  19. that looks very tasty... That bacon will have an excellent smoky taste by the looks of it.
  20. What a nice view you will have cooking on your KK. I can't remember about the ledge. Line up the two halves so the charcoal basket sits flat and away you go. After that and firing it up your KK do not remove the firebox again, as per Dennis.
  21. I use the wood as is. Enjoy the wood.
  22. When I saw the title I thought you bought the 42" KK and got your free lamb...
