Aussie day dinner topped of with some fire works
MacKenzie replied to Aussie Ora's topic in KK Cooking
Your dinner was spectacular, in keeping with the occasion and the fire works.:) -
The first cook or two told me I didn't want to use that other cooker I had. Sold it right away.
-
We just went thru a wet and warm spell, freezing temps are approaching. Took advantage of the warm weather today to spin a pork loin.
-
Love it, I could have a lot of fun in that room.
-
Wahoo, I see you have a little of the white stuff there.
-
Sure looks pretty with the sun.

Dinner is looking very good, Tony. Nice to see the wild life. I haven't seen any deer since the winter started. The beer sounds delicious.
-
Alimac, great looking meatballs and the perfect bread to go with them.
-
I'm for chicken, it will be the most moist chicken you have ever cooked.
-
Flemming, that is just so exciting. You won't be sorry with this pick. The KK is an awesome cooker and the food you will cook on it will also move to the next level. Looking forward to seeing the landing shots, lots of them, we will love to relive our deliveries through yours, it is truly exciting and when you see your KK in real life it will be even more stunning than you think it will be.

BonFire, your lamb chops are looking really really tasty. Aussie, rib dinner looks delicious, gotta love that corn. Syzygies, I'd survive very nicely on that fried rice.
-
I'll have to do this again.

We have that snow, ice pellet, and rain storm that came up the coast today and hasn't passed thru totally yet so I thought a treat was in order. Waffle chips, didn't take enough time with the shots, I was overly anxious to eat these sea salt and pepper chips and now they are all gone so I can't do a re-take.

Decision made and I am sure you will like it and that it will look perfect when you are done.
-
You will also be impressed with the new taste of the food you are about to cook on the 22TT.
-
Once you get it perfect for your needs, this struggle will quickly fade.

Made some homemade pasta and sauce for lunch. Ground some durum wheat berries to make about 45% of the required flour for the recipe and the sauce was made using some of last summers tomatoes. For dessert a mini chocolate cheese cake made by a good friend of mine. Yes, the same one that makes me chocolates. Now I need to end it all with a double espresso.

No, it means you have a photography problem.
-
I think you are correct it is high, higher than I would like that's for sure, mine are in the 32-34 inch range.
-
Love that colour on the ribs.
-
Orthopod, your outdoor kitchen is going to be fantastic, can't wait to see the finished pixs and I bet you can't wait either.
-
That has to be a win win no matter how you look at it. You get the fun of cooking, keep your cash (spending on ribs is more fun than spending on car upkeep), and I bet you get the best service for your car, the mechanic gets a gorgeous meal, the satisfaction of doing a top notch job, and doesn't pay any tax on money earned.

Your pork roast is looking very tasty indeed.
-
Funny, Steve, I like the round ones too.

What a nice sight to see out your windows.
