  1. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the story.
  2. Tony, that is quite the blanket of the white stuff, so fresh and so clean and bright.

  4. KismetKamado, great looking brisket and slices perfectly.
  5. What great game day cooks going on here today. I was going to do nachos and forgot to buy the ingredients, now I'm kicking myself, I dropped the ball.
  6. What a gorgeous looking dinner and setting. Your neighbours and going to love you and your new grill. Pretty soon all your neighbours will have a KK.
  7. A hammer and chisel will make quick work of the big piece or this thing will-
  8. I heard back and they only carry Fogo Super Premium. Maybe I can talk them into the Quebracho.
  9. I just located a store about 100 miles from me that says they carry the Argentinian Quebracho, according to their website. I am reaching out to them to see if they actually have and what is the cost. I'd like to try this. Thanks, Syzygies.
  10. Oh, that looks awesome. I'd try just uses regular lump and no smoking wood and see how you like that.
  11. Thanks guys, it was a nice way to spend a cold winter's day and a real taste treat.
  12. Thanks, Eddie mac. I didn't really have much choice, do it in the kitchen oven I don't think so.
  13. It was -9F here today and my chicken was thawed, just didn't think it was wise to wait for a warm spell to cook it so here goes. Decided to serve with potato scallop and some roasted purple carrots, parsnips and regular carrots. Ready to bake. Ready to serve. Chicken is baked. Plated. Chicken was moist and tender. Veggies.
  14. I'd say your first pizzas were a hit. Your daughter thinks you make great pizza and that's wonderful.
  15. That must be a very nice muddler. I love walnut.
  16. No matter which KK you buy or which two you buy, the taste of whatever you cook moves to the next level too.
  17. Fantastic colour on that butt. It is going to taste delicious. Yummy.
  18. Little did Dennis know when he created that heat deflector what we'd use it for. LOL
  19. It was not as spectacular as I was hoping but I would still put it on tray with some cured meats, fruits and olives for a taste treat.
  20. A couple of unexpected combinations of tastes for me today- 1. Toast with honey and a sprinkling of crushed fennel, the fennel balances out that extra sweetness of the honey. 2. Some cheddar cheese, dipped in honey and dunked in freshly ground coffee.
  21. No, I don't expect to see any difference, Tony, and actually I only planned a 48 hour cook for this one but it just wasn't convenient so it went a little longer.
