  1. That is great, Steve, can't wait to see what you do and hear what you think of it.:) Have you done it before?
  2. This looks like a good spot to post my pizza. I wanted to make pizza on Little Ms. Pebbles to see if my usual recipe would fit. The was one of the reasons I ordered this grill, thought it would be good for the winter pizzas, easy and quick to get up to temp. Plated. Needless to say I'm happy to say my pizza fits.
  3. Thanks, Stile. Here is another one. I wanted to use my normal sourdough full bread recipe and see if it would fit on the Little One. It is ready to flip out of the brotform. The crumb shot. The full recipe worked and I am very pleased with the bake.:)
  4. We'll see how it goes as I will be doing some hit heat cooks and burn in before the real rolling stand is built so we'll get to see what the plywood underneath looks like when we move the grill. Thanks ck.
  5. Beautiful, Jon. Gorgeous and soooooo peaceful. Thanks for posting.
  6. Finally got to taste this bacon. I had a slice for breakfast this morning and could you ever smell the smoke, even the smoke detector gave a short burst of approval. It is delicious if I say so myself.;)
  7. Delicious, this story gives on giving and giving.:)
  8. Thanks for that reminder, tinyfish. From my previous experience with other grills I have been trained to open the lid carefully, an old habit but one work paying attention to, thanks again. Fortunately not a lot to worry about with the KK but better safe than sorry. Little Ms. Pebbles might wiggle a little but there is no danger of her falling over backwards.
  9. Thanks guys, I hope to do another loaf today maybe right after the pizza or before.;) @tomahawk, I have only cooked squash, sausage, fonsant potatoes and 2 breakfasts, consisting of bacon , eggs and beans so far but I've only had it since Thurs.
  10. ck, if you need any help eating that delicious looking food while you are busying running this experiment just let me know. Everything looks tasty.:)
  11. Santa came early to your house, and certainly left a stash of wonderful looking goodies. I can understand your dilemma.
  12. Instead of making round pizzas I may have to start making them the shape of the baking stone.
  13. With my trusty little tape I just measured it and at the widest it is 14.5 inches and front to back it is 10.75 inches. A little small but a very fast heater.
  14. What got me thinking about it was the coming winter and you know as well as I that any pizza cooked on the KK is better than one cooked in the oven. and since it is heat soaked no problem putting on the second pizza.
  15. Thanks, Half Smoke. It was no problem at all getting it heat soaked. Every time I use this Little One I feel smarter for ordering it, why is that? [emoji4] Maybe I should special order another one.
  16. I'll just bet it had awesome flavours. It looks brilliant [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  17. Thanks, Stile and Shuley. I will definitely do it again.
  18. One thing I did want to be able to do is bake bread on this Little Gem. Today I made a batch of sour dough bread, use 85% of the ingredients for my standard loaf, probably could have gotten away with only a 10% reduction. This KK heated up so quickly it was well heat soaked by the time put the bread on. Things were a little hotter than normal, grill heat soaked at 540F. Next time I think I'll try 525F and I also over cooked the bread by a minute or two. The crumb is good and the flavour is awesome. Tomorrow I hope to do a pizza on the Little One. Can you tell I'm getting ready for winter when I don't to spend any more time in the ODK than I have to?
  19. What HalfSmoke and Stile said, my dough is in the fridge for a bake tomorrow.
  20. Sure looks very tasty to me, chicken on the KK is hard to beat.:)
  21. Gorgeous and your food cook is pretty good too.:) Actually those burgers look soooooooooo moist and flavourful and I love that bib.:)
  22. Awesome, now I'm waiting to see you put it to good use.
