Tony, I don't think 10 mins is long enough, maybe 12 mins and then 1 min. in boiling water to set the whites. :) Then the cold water.
  5. Syzygies, I have heard this before but can you give me more details on what hot liquids to do a chamber vacuum sealer please? Thanks. I know that once the pressure is lowered that the hot liquid will likely boil but if it can be contained in the bag is there still a possibility that damage can be done to the machine itself?
  6. I just received box of 1000 of the 4mm, 10x13 and you certainly can feel the difference between these and the 3mm. I fall into that wash and reuse category too.
  7. dstr8, you must have had a ton of fun making that lasagna and it looks wonderful, moist and tasty.
  8. Tony, In the first pix it looks like those racks of ribs are praying, "Please let this recipe work and make us delicious." From the rest of the pixs it sure worked because those ribs look awesome.
  9. Here comes the Paprikash, thanks to Tony. As you can see, Tony, I added mushrooms to the recipe. I also used 1T hot paprika and 1T sweet paprika.
  10. Gorgeous, you just know I'm going to try that. Thanks for the tips.
  11. Stay tuned for Chicken Paprikash. I hope.
  12. I thought I was going to have to go to bed wondering about that pizza but I'm in luck. What a fantastic pizza, just look at those huge bubbles, awesome.
  13. Sk, your secret is safe with me.
  14. Sk, that looks sooo delicious :)
  15. What a tease you are ck.
  16. Thanks, Tony. I should be able to come up with something to make that Chicken Paprika from the roti chicken. Stay tuned.

Syzgies, I know those English Muffins, but I want to thank you for posting the info and the link. It is much appreciated. I also have the Baking Steel and found that recipe. Have made them several times, guess you missed the post. I followed the recipe and loved it. Haven't tried using my sourdough for them nor have I ground my own flour for them. Sounds like an interesting idea to try. Thanks again. Have you tried Pretzel Buns from King Arthur, they are also delicious?
  20. I just wish the crackers were mine, alas I can only take credit for the cheese smoking;)
  21. It sure is bubbly, see you tomorrow night:)
  22. Thanks, dstr8, I did try the blowing trick once I realized it stuck. I guess I needed to do more blowing. I didn't know the surface tips though.
  23. Finished the pasta for the chicken soup. Rotisserie Chicken Soup. and a side of crackers and KK smoked cheese. Any suggestions about what to make with the rest of the noodles and chicken? I am open for suggestions.
  24. How could I forget that, 2 jars on the way. It takes $3 Canadian to buy $ 2 US so I figure your 2 jars will be equal to 3 jars for Rak.
  25. I can see the shine from here, I had to put my sunglasses on.
