  1. That was my first try and I used those Little Creamer Potatoes. I might try a higher temp. next time just to get them a little more crispy or maybe longer in the airfryer. I think I'd like them on my breakfast plate too.
  2. Bruce, I've been gardening forever, started when I was just a little girl helping my grandparents. Being the favourite grandchild has it's benefits and I learned an alwful lot from my mother's parents. They'd pick me up from school on Fri. afternoon and I'd spend the weekend with them. The had a big orchard, tons of flowers and lots of veggies. I used to sit up in the cherry trees in particular and stuff my face with sour cherries while I was picking enough for my grandmother to make a cherry pie or jam. I'd do the same with the apple trees. Loved it.
  3. Tyrus, I'll have someone come and meet you at the dock, not to worry.
  4. Yes, Bruce the greens are from my garden and I have bunch with breakfast and dinner, gotta love fresh out of the garden tender greens.
  5. It might be hot but never too hot for a hot rib dinner. I boiled the potatoes first then rubbed with butter and sprinkled on some granulated garlic, Zanzibar Pepper, Egyptian Basil and Silk Chili. Next I put them in the airfryer at 350F for about 12 mins.
  6. Looks lovely, and just wait until you taste the food.
  7. Stunning and home safe and sound. Can't wait to see what's cooking.
  8. Lucky you, my basil plants are still in the global mode, dinner is looking tasty, Tony.
  9. Started Canada Day off with a special breakfast. A special lunch was required. A special drink is in order.
  10. I'd love to help, Steve, but I don't have a ceramic rice cooker, my rice cooker is the ZOJIRUSHI Induction Heating System Rice Cooker & Warmer NP-HCC10/18
  11. Sounds like a very successful cook, Tyrus.:) But I'm not sure it happened, no pixs.
  12. You are going to "love this cooker more". Welcome to the KK world.
  13. Thanks, El Pescador. Do I have a treat for you for your caprese, Burlap & Barrel Egyptian Basil, not as a substitute for fresh basil but in addition to it. It has a slight sweet licorice flavour.
  14. I did enjoy the ride but I'd rather a taste test, especially of the provolone.
  15. @Flemming, I'll say had a mess of steaks and they do look delicious.
  16. Thanks, Bruce. Tasty stuff. I'm sorry to say that I didn't get your PM, can you try again, please?
  17. Pork ribs on the menu today, sprinkled with smoked paprika, granulated garlic and pepper, then added to the 250F-275F for 4.5 hours. Done. Plated. I just love this time of the year where you can run to the garden and get fresh greens and not too much longer, tomatoes.
  18. I have eaten almost half of the box and I'm forcing myself to stop right there for fear of what might happen.
  19. Last night was pizza night, supposed to bake on the KK but due to circumstances beyond my control the bake was late so IDK stove came to the rescue. I really wanted to try the Egyptian Basil that I bought from Burlap & Barrel Spice company on a pizza. I love this spice on other things and thought it would be extra special on a pizza. I just add some of the basil to warn tomato sauce and let it sit while I was getting things ready, added a little of their Mediterranean Coriander too. Loaded pizza, those are Shiatsu peppers on the pizza. Baked @ 500F for 10 mins. I will for sure be making this pizza again.
  20. This jumped into my Costco buggy today. I should have bought 2 boxes, I've already eaten 1/3 of this box.
