  1. Looks dollhouse size. I guess it would be good for weight loss. If Dennis did make you a KK that size you could hang it from your rearview mirror.

I don't like when guest/company smothers their meal with tobacco and/or ketchup. I put forth the effort to select, season, and cook the meal to the best of my ability and you're going to mask it. Makes me think next time I'll just get drunk and not put forth the effort.

    Wagyu Cook

    Now that's funny!
  4. Here's a pic of a 14 pounder I picked up for my son. I also think $3.00 bucks a pound isn't bad at all!
  5. No. They stock them. I picked up a 18 lbs. brisket the other day...no problem.
  6. I buy the full prime grade rib from Costco and cut steaks. I cut the 'eye' and 'cap' into two separate 1.5" thick steaks and grind the rest. The cap has became my favorite.
  7. Good looking cooks Steve. The rib eye cap is awesome! Love rib eyes!!

For me hanger steaks are too thin for a reverse sear. I do them direct...hot and fast!! They are very tasty.

    Beef Ribs

Yeah, the wife and I have been on a spinach salad kick lately. Very tasty! My wife doesn't handle spicy food so well either. She's much better than she used to be though.
  10. The kidney beans are a different twist too me. I guess nachos are a blank canvas.

Good looking ribs. Dee sure can put together a salad! I can't believe how orange the egg yokes are...fantastic. I haven't tried Uncle Dougie's. I use the standard Frank's wing sauce. It's pretty good.
  12. Just got back from New Orleans on Sunday. Best place for grits is the court of two sisters. Fantastic food all around.

    Pork Rack

Nice job! looks really good. Love pork racks. Costco carries them during the holidays and I pick 3 to 4 up to last through summer.

    Smash Burgers

Got-a love a good smash burger!
  15. Awesome!! When he cooks on the 42" they are going to have to run the "this has been modified to fit your screen" disclaimer.
  16. I'm late to the party but welcome. If you dedication to cooking and smoking is equal to your brewing we're in for a treat. Not much I love more than a home cooked meal and a good home-brewed IPA!! Again congratulations and welcome.
  17. Another source for smoking wood is a cabinet shop. They usually have cherry, red oak, alder, maple, etc.. You might even be doing them a favor by cleaning up their scraps.
  18. I'll have to try it next time I'm in Tampa.
  19. You know what? I am. I smoked some spares for one of the guys that works there. He thought they were great! The best part is I don't drink coffee! I figure anything that goes in black and comes out yellow can't be good for you.
  20. Much better thanks. Poor gal, she had to eat all of her meals in bed that day. On a side note, as stated I started Bob before sunrise. A couple hours latter I went to get the wife a latte. I was standing at the counter when the gal (barista) grab my shirt and said, "Oh my God you smell great!! I'm from Texas and your Q smells like home". I went back and gave her a 1/2 rack latter that day.
  21. Thanks everyone! It was a fun day. My wife wasn't feeling well and the rain had let up a little so I decided to cook/smoke all day. I didn't include pics of the smash burgers C/I grilled on the Weber 22 and spinach salad I had for lunch.
  22. Oh there was adult beverages or as I was calling them "KK Lube". I was enjoying Redtail Ale from Mendocino Brewing Co. YUM! good stuff. Just wanted to see if I could take pictures without having my beer in the shot.
  23. BOOM! Nailed it! MacKenzie strikes again. Looks fantastic.
