  9. The first thing to do is to call and ask about the half grate, i use mine in my 32 more than any other accessory. I'm thinking they may have just changed the name to warming grate ???? But call Dennis as that question has been asked a few times recently, he loves to talk grills and he is the one who can give you a definitive answer on that 👍

  11. I believe it comes with, at least it did in the past. But I do see it listed under accessories now so maybe it doesn't. I use mine a lot. You will not regret getting the KK, you will love it !!!
  12. Great looking ribs !!!
  13. I'm 63 with back issues but I have no issues with the grates. Ask me again when I am 73 and i might have a different answer lol
  14. The basket splitter and half grate go hand and hand for grilling a thick steak. I use both for doing a reverse sear. I'll invert the upper grate over the coals so it is only a few inches above and put the half grate up in the cooler side. I'll run my temp at about 250 until i get the internal temp i am looking for. Then you take your steak off to rest for 15 or 20 minutes and then open the damper up to get those coals red hot. Then you sear on the lower grate. You will love the results. I do the same for prime rib. Welcome to KK steak cooking
  15. He hasn't logged in since June 2024 so I'm not sure he will respond
  16. @tekobo Our resident expert on multiples lol
  17. Those don't look too bad at all, a tube of grout from Dennis and you'll be good to go. Just get the KK heat soaked and work that grout into the cracks and l;et it cool. You'll be good to go
  18. You might want to just pick up the phone and call Dennis, he can probably answer all of your questions in one call 👍
  19. I don't think we have any 38 owners on the forum yet ????
  20. If I know if is going to be a lot of dripping like for pork butts i put something like a stainless serving tray or a cookie sheet under the foil, just to be safe, you don't want to accidentally dump a bunch of drippings into your KK.
  21. That looks fantastic !!!!
  22. Sorry for the delay, hope this helps. And you would want to leave some extra room just for wiggling it in place.
  23. i can throw mine on and measure, i know someone asked this and answered as they were doing the same but i couldn't find it searching
