Nice looking litter box you have there. Never saw one with stainless fittings before.

Ahh, the old defective product/retailer vs manufacturer dilemma. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.http://web.archive.org/web/20030125225505/www.kamado.com/forum/archives/Jan99/jan99.cgi?read=846

Gee, for some reason, my younger employees don't consider this a great rendition.

Re: Doctor's visit Congratulations. That was the perfect response. I'm speechless.

As many of you know, Deej has had some surgery recently. Prior to the surgery, he went to see his doctor for a presurgical exam. After the exam, the doctor said, "Well you seem fine. But before you go, I'll need you to leave a urine sample, a stool sample, and a semen sample." Deej, who's hard of hearing, turned to the nurse and asked, "What did he say?" The nurse said, "THE DOCTOR SAID HE NEEDS YOUR UNDERWEAR."

Well thanks for the welcome, Sanny. But I never went anywhere. I'm just no good at small talk* and I can't afford one of these friggin cookers. *general perversion and rants that'll make your eyeballs bleed, that's a different matter.... but Dennis seems to be running a tight ship and no one is getting abused by the kk fanboys, so what's there to say?

This has been around for at least a few months, so perhaps many folks have already seen it, but it's still pretty cool: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3004678533345055536&q=britain%27s+got+talent+phone+salesman&total=18&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0

Heh, I wondered if this was the site of the famous exploding K story. Last I heard, it took out half of Ireland.

Komodo Coconut Charcoal... Both cat's are out...
gerard replied to DennisLinkletter's topic in KK Announcements
Outstanding! I remember hearing that the really good extruded is made from granular charcoal* and the cheaper, lesser stuff is from powdered charcoal. Is that true? And if so, I presume yours is made of the granular stuff??? *I don't have a clue if this was an accurate statement or just a POed manufacturer tooting their horn and bashing the stuff that someone else is importing now. -

KOmodo Hardwood Lump Charcoal... Cat's out of the Bag!

Bout time. Looking forward to trying some. Thank you! But seriously, does it have to be so eco friendly? I prefer my charcoal to be made from old growth rainforest, baby seals, or indigenous people. I guess coppicing is copacetic, huh? -

Re: Passages... Bah, faulty memory. Nothing in Wikipedia about Maplethorpe. But I remember an interview a few years ago on public radio in which she recounted some controversy from her days as a matron of the arts. Don't remember what it was but it wasn't in keeping with the image I had of her up until that time.
-
Re: Passages... Agreed. Very classy act. Her acting career predated me but I remember her with Arlene and Peggy and Orson and Bill and Joey and I can't remember the other regular panelists. I'm surprised you're old enough to have known To Tell the Truth... I figured you in your 30s from your photo on the other forum. Kitty became very active in the arts in her later life... and wasn't she controversial at times... seem to remember reading her defending a Maplethorpe exhibit or something like that. Guess I need to go read Wikipedia.

Welcome aboard, Central Pork. That's a great moniker.

Assuming that is true, and let's say I'm very skeptical, I still don't know of any erectile tissue in the throat, well, except in ***THAT*** movie oh so long ago, and that wasn't a fish, well, errr, never mind. That's just downright repugnant. Apparently that's pretty common. Didn't know anything about that since most bream and crappie are at about 5 - 10' when I hook em. Glad they don't do that.

Welcome aboard, Bobkat. Pleased to meetcha. a Gag grouper? No wonder it's gagging... it tried to deep throat the world's largest bratwurst! Seriously... what is that thing? A lure? Surely it's not a tongue.

Re: New Model, Gen II Ultimate OTB - Quality.. Redefined You can't go traipsing off to Thailand and leave this new feature unexplained. What is special about this? Is this a gasketless seal? -
Operation BBQ, Camp Lejeune, NC -- April 12, 2007

Yep, Mr. LD seems to have a fascination with carcasses. Ask him what happens to the slow sled dogs. Probably 450 and 5 min per side. Regardless, I bet the accompanying wine is superb. -

Whiz, thanks for posting that. I've seen photos from some previous years and am always envious of the motivation you folks have and all the karma you're earning. Not envious enough to go do something like that myself but I can sit in the comfort of my heavily padded chair and say, "Yep, I'm gonna do something like that some day." Whew, LD. Thank heavens you shared that with us. Not that I remember anyone asking for details but apparently there was a burning need.
