CeramicChef Posted June 18, 2017 Report Posted June 18, 2017 (edited) @MacKenzie - another beautiful cook. Kudos, kudos, kudos to ya! I do have one question: ketchup? In just about every photo! Are you an heir to the Heinz fortune? Edited June 18, 2017 by CeramicChef

The reason you see so many meals with ketchup is that I like it with fries and I've been making a lot of them since getting my air fryer. Edited June 19, 2017 by MacKenzie 1
MacKenzie Posted June 24, 2017 Report Posted June 24, 2017 Yearning for a little steak so this fit the bill. Plated with spinach right out of deck salad bar, this was the first batch of steamed spinach, some tasty. 5
MacKenzie Posted June 25, 2017 Report Posted June 25, 2017 That is exactly what I thought Steve as I took the first bite, It melted in my mouth.
MacKenzie Posted June 27, 2017 Report Posted June 27, 2017 Let's try that mayo trick on a grilled cheese sandwich. Homemade toasted pumpkin and sunflower seed sourdough bread, KK smoked Gouda cheese and mayo on the outsides of the sandwich. 5
Steve M Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 Marinated some kebabs and wings in the cornell chicken marinade. I really like this recipe. I also used it as a baste on the corn. Best corn I have had this summer. Threw in some cheese and bacon stuffed baby portabellas. 6
MacKenzie Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 Steve, your cook is making my grilled cheese sandwich pretty lame. I love corn can't get fresh here for another month and a half at least, those mushrooms sound delicious and I'm sure the chicken kabobs are too. 1
Bruce Pearson Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 All these pictures r making me hungry. Think I'll smoke a wagu tri tip on the 4th any suggestions on a run?
tony b Posted June 28, 2017 Report Posted June 28, 2017 MacKenzie, that grilled cheese was spot on! I would have never thought up using mayo on the outside by myself, but I'm glad that someone else did and shared it! Steve, in all the Cornell chicken cooks that I've done over the years, it never occurred to me to put it on the corn. Will definitely be trying that out soon! No local corn yet (at least another 3 or 4 weeks), but the stuff we're getting (probably from Ark) isn't too bad. 1

Bruce, did you mean rub? I like the classic Santa Maria style rub and I have also done it with salt, pepper, and Montreal steak seasoning. They are both fantastic.
MacKenzie Posted July 2, 2017 Report Posted July 2, 2017 First beet greens of the season, so tender and tasty. Served with some leftover beef roast and a twice baked potato. 6
CeramicChef Posted July 2, 2017 Report Posted July 2, 2017 Dadgummit all anyways, @MacKenzie! Now I'm starving and my diet is on life support! Beautiful colors and a wonderful cook. Kudos to ya. 1
