Did you slap it on the side walls like in a tandoor? Last night Mrs skreef did Naan bread in the KK using a yogurt Naan bread recipe and a CI skillet. 500*, 1min 45 seconds per side. They came out perfect. I manned the KK while she rolled out the dough. Cruised right through making 8 of them. I usually do them in the Blackstone Pizza Oven but this worked so well it'll probably be my new goto method. tony b
Excellent, MacKenzie! I've been a slacker and not made homemade pasta in ages. Local supermarket has started carrying some high-end imported pastas - really good stuff.
MacKenzie
I neglected to say that I ground my own flour from Durum wheat berries to make the spaghetti.

MacKenzie
A friend brought me some moose meat and with some of it I made moose meat hash patties. The patties have meat, potatoes, carrots, onion, mushrooms and spices. Did patties on Little Ms. Pebbles for lunch today and served with a garden salad, still warm from the sun. The cheese is a grilling cheese called Haloumi and this one is topped with Mediterranean spices. And someone had to finish off that lemon ice cream. Straight off the warming over the perfect end to a nice lunch. Edited August 29, 2017 by MacKenzie
Bruce Pearson
Wow moose hash patties looks good. Almost looks like a veggie patty. How did it taste? I've never had moose before, does it resemble any other kind of meat? The lemon ice cream looks pretty tasty, is that basaltic vinegar in the cup to put over the ice cream?
MacKenzie
The moose meat is lean and it doesn't have a strong flavour. That was an espresso to end the meal.

MacKenzie
No, I don't find it overly strong but it is pretty lean. That lemon ice cream is pretty tasty, thanks.
