tinyfish Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Well today is the day the KK and cabinet arrived. The KK and cabinet are well crated as always. I was unsure how the cabinet would be shipped. Would the cabinet be shipped Ikea style or Dennis style. Well it came Dennis style 100% fully assembled. So lets start with some pics. Got some help from my son the future owner of one of the KK'S The cabinet is stunning. I love teak wood. The stainless steel in the top is spectacular it makes the cabinet look even better. The cabinet top is thick and solid The top fits the curve of the KK perfect Look at that stainless The inside of the cabinet Without further ado let me introduce you to Dexter and Sinister. Dexter and Sinister are Latin for right ( Dexter ) and left ( Sinister ). These names are perfect. When I say I'm cooking on Dexter you know I'm cooking on the rightside of the table...lol. Dexter and Sinister The Sunbrella fabric covers All the toys... 1
MacKenzie Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Finally, I've been waiting all day for this and I was just going to shut down the computer and saw your post. The twins are absolutely beautiful and that cabinet is awesome, just look at that stainless steel insert. Covers for those beauties are a must. :)

tinyfish Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 Dang it!! Every time I see a beautiful new bronze it makes me feel like I need to go polish!!! Beautiful set up!! Robert Robert after every cook on Sinister (leftside) and before I put the cover on I clean and polish Sinister.
tinyfish Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 Thanks for the kind words everyone. I was right busy week three KK's got introduced.
Poochie Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Tiny, I can tell you polish Sinister after each use...the only way to tell the difference between the two is the vent on the bottom. As far as shiny goes, they both look brand new. I'll bet you're real proud of that setup. The possibilities are endless. I'm guessing that you'll do the burn in real soon and then put a hunk of meat on it to get the "new" off of it. Congratulations!!
ckreef Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 WOW - takes your breath away. Stunning for sure. I think you get the peoples choice award for total Bling factor.
tinyfish Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 @Poochie thanks. I'm waiting for the dual vent door for Sinister.
GoFrogs91 Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Wow tiny! That is just spectacular! I'll bet that you spend some serious time staring at the backyard. Very nice. Benton
RedStick Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Wow. The table is more impressive than I had imagined! I may have to custom order a table with the stainless insert when I am able to pull the trigger. Wonderful idea. Congratulations to you!
tinyfish Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 Wow tiny! That is just spectacular! I'll bet that you spend some serious time staring at the backyard. Very nice. Benton Thanks Benton...I think we are all guilty of staring at our KK's Wow. The table is more impressive than I had imagined! I may have to custom order a table with the stainless insert when I am able to pull the trigger. Wonderful idea. Congratulations to you! Red you won't be disappointed with whatever you decide. I had a stainless steel table for my BGE but Dennis' teak cabinets just leave you in awe. I knew I wanted a teak cabinet when I first saw the teak handles on the grill lifters.
tony b Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Yes, Dennis' woodworking skills are even better than his grill-making ones, if that's even possible to believe! tinyfish, that is truly one beautiful set-up! I bet if you aimed everything right in bright sunshine, you could do fusion energy experiments on that stainless table top!!
DennisLinkletter Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Love seeing them in their new home.. I gotta laugh my son's name is Dexter!
tinyfish Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 I came home from work today and I thought let me do the burn in on Dexter (sits to the right of the table) but I couldn't because it just looks so white and nice inside...maybe another day. In case you guys forgot what the inside looked like when you got your KK.
egmiii Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 Congrats! I'm so jealous watching everyone receive their deliveries this week. My driver must be the slowest one of all. As of noon today, he still had 600 miles to go. I haven't received a call from the shipping company yet, so I'm guessing I'll have to wait until next week at this point. This is not a joke, but the boat travelled from China to LA and cleared customs in less time than it's taking to ship cross country.
bosco Posted October 9, 2015 Report Posted October 9, 2015 You sound close!!! You will be cooking in no time
