  5. We should keep it to tiles vs pebbles. 🥴
  6. As did I, so I was speaking to myself too lol this is the only BBQ forum I have ever been on where every thread didn’t dissolve into a charcoal debate. I’d love to see it stay that way lol
  7. How about we get back on topic for the original poster ?
  8. Easiest way to get used to temp control is just to spatchcock a chicken or three. Or toss a bigger bird on there, like a 25 pound turkey 😁
  9. Knowing Tony he’d fine a way to cook those Pattie’s and make them tasty 😋
  10. If you are paying i'm fine with waiting LOL
  11. I only pay a little over $1 a pound for my Wicked Good lump and with how little the KK uses it is worth every penny. Ace has the 20 pound bags for $23.99 and I usually have a $10 off $100 coupon around and that makes it even more betterer
  12. The royal oak, red bag, available up here reminds me of the white fog they used to spray mosquitoes with in the 1970’s.
  13. I have the rotisserie spit and the basket, I’ve only used the basket twice but it was really handy for cooking a large piece of meat. And just get the bigger of the two moters that way you’ll never need more power I have a 32 and I can assure you, tiles cook much better food then those silly pebbles. You have to keep in mind that pebbles are simply broken tiles. And as far as lump goes you’ll get different answers from everyone but the best advice I can offer is just get the best you have available local. In my case I have my local Ace Hardware get me wicked local or Rockwood if wicked isn’t available. Anyways welcome to the obsession 😁
  14. I’m so stealing that ragu recipe !!!!!!! 👍
  15. I have no idea but I have yet to have a need for cooking on more than one level at a time. Last week I cooked a 20 pound pork shoulder and I had plenty of free space. I went from a Large BGE to a Primo XL to the BB32. You won’t regret it
  16. It's a good thing there is no snow on the ground cause i would absolutely build a snowman lol
  17. That is a finishing honey glaze. It is dark honey canned with jalapeño then aged for a few months. It’s good 😁
  18. It was really good, I ate too much and took a 90 minute nap after lol
