CeramicChef
@MacKenzie - That's chicken done right. Beautiful bird. If that tasted half as good as it looks, that was some kind of tasty treat. Kudos! I like the trussing. Do you find it necessary to truss when employing the rotisserie?
MacKenzie
Let's add a rotisserie chicken dinner to that post. Served with Harvard Beets and boiled potatoes.

MacKenzie
Thanks, CC. I did enjoy that dinner. Rotisserie cooking is so easy almost mess free especially since the rotisserie fits into the dishwasher. :)

Jon B.
On a balmy 54*F day with 25 mph winds, I was wearing a winter hat when I fired up the 19" TT for the first marina cook. Heat soaked the KK at 375* for an hour and threw in some beer bread. (top shelf with the factory SS pan as a heat shield below) 60 minutes later..................... Since the grill was hot...........we threw on some boneless-skinless chicken thighs seasoned with a generic chicken seasoning......................... Bread was excellent..............chicken would have been better cooked directly over the fire (left the drip pan in the cooker). Paired them up with some sweet corn. All-in-all.........a decent dinner on a freezing cold June day !!!!!

ckreef
Nice cook - bread looks yummy. Chicken works indirect you just need to crank up the heat a bit higher compared to direct. Reef's Bistro
CeramicChef
Now that looks like a sumptuous repast if I ever saw one! Nicely done.
MacKenzie
Jon, I love the look of that beer bread and I think the entire dinner must have been very tasty, chicken, corn and beer bread. BTW, you are not alone with that weather.

CeramicChef
Tony - I feel your pain. It's finally heating up here in Central OK. We're supposed to hit the mid 90s here through the weekend. It's been a very mild spring here without much severe weather. very few tornados and that's a wonderful thing!

MacKenzie
I'm making up for the miserable weather with lots of comfort food. A hot chicken sandwich made with some rotisserie chicken, mini leaf lettuce from my garden and the end of last years peas. Followed by some homemade vanilla ice cream and a sugar waffle cone.:)
MacKenzie
I might be comfortable but these 5 humming birds are not looking like they are enjoying the weather. I'm watching them from my kitchen.

Great picture. They don't care. Mine come around in the pouring down rain. They eat the most just as a front is coming in.
