dstr8
Difficult for me to say MacK...which food shots I like the best. If I was forced to say what is my fave...it would be your SV tenderloin! But basically its a multi-way tie Also, what ice cream maker are you using?
MacKenzie
Thank you, dstr. The ice cream maker is an Italian product, Musso- Lussino. I like it. The ice cream is delicious and I use it to make frozen yogurt and other frozen desserts.
CeramicChef
@MacKenzie - thanks for that picture! I've seen just a few Hummers around my yard here in OKC. I live in the City itself with very little open green spaces around me. Maybe all my Hummers are up in the milder climes of Canada. If I didn't have to put up with OKCs scalding hot summers, I would head to Canada myself. It was 99° on my patio this afternoon!

kjs
Nice shot of the humming birds and the food shots are gorgeous as always.
tony b
Killing it, as usual, MacKenzie. I'm sure that the hummingbirds appreciate the meal in the cold weather.
MacKenzie
The last of the rotisserie chicken is served with pasta, peas, Thai hot pepper, chives, and diced smoked cheese in thickened chicken broth.
CeramicChef
@MacKenzie -Geez, you can get almost as many great looking meals out of a chicken as my dear Mom! That is just making me drool like a fool! Of course there are some that would say that's not hard to do! That's a beautiful dish. Kudos all over Nova Scotia to you! Jon B.
Cooked some Country Pork Ribs last night.........Marinaded overnight in a Japanese grilling sauce, for 3 hours, indirect, 250*F, with hickory smoke. Don't look the best but they were really good!!! On the past Saturday evening we cherry smoked beef ribs and a skirt steak.....................alas, no pictures............so it didn't really happen. (they were excellent also)
ckreef
alas, no pictures............so it didn't really happen. (they were excellent also) Sometimes imaginary food tastes the best - LOL In my case - no pictures from last night but it was more of a nightmare so that was all for the better. CeramicChef
I thought I'd throw this in the mix. This is just a minute steak and pan roasted zucchini and grape tomatoes with some capers, thyme, parsley, S&P, and a little EVOO. This was one wonderfully tasty and healthy dinner. I'm grilling myself thin this summer!

Syzygies
The coffee lump charcoal from Dennis is amazing. Think Japanese Binchō-tan, scaled for the KK. Seeing this charcoal first hand is dangerous information. Edited June 22, 2016 by Syzygies

I don't know if I should use on a low and slow cook or a hotter direct heat cook.
