5698k Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 Ok, if you're really thinking over the top, how about an electric lid option?

Robert Quote
tony b Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 I like it, Robert! Wouldn't that look sweet?? Touch a button on the front and the lid raises and lowers all by itself! Way Kewl!!! Quote
ckreef Posted January 17, 2016 Report Posted January 17, 2016 Ok, if you're really thinking over the top, how about an electric lid option? Robert With 2 Springs you're only going to need a finger to close it anyway. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT Quote

Poochie Posted January 29, 2016 Report Posted January 29, 2016 You just HAD to go and make that monster size, didn't you? And you know we're all thinking about where we'd put it. I also can see a pig roast for Easter and Christmas. You're messing with us and you know it. When will the first one be ready to ship?? Inquiring minds want to know. Quote
aiden Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Even when I ordered my 21" last summer, Dennis was telling me about this mad science project of making a 42". I told him if he made it, I would buy it. Now I'll have to sell one of my kidneys so I can keep my promise. Quote
bosco Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 You were given two kidneys to give one away!!! Quote
marbque Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 WOW!, I haven't even got a 23" under my belt yet Quote
Cookie Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 Did someone say mount it to a trailer? 1 Quote
MacKenzie Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 He needs to strap his KK to the hood. Quote
aiden Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 Dennis, do you have any concerns about creating a hotspot in the middle where the vent and the chimney create their vortex? On smaller units I imagine it's not as big of an issue, though even in my 21" direct heat is still obviously in the middle. But the affected area would be much more pronounced as the width increases. Anyone with the 32" notice heat variances from the sides versus the middle like this? Just curious. Quote
