bosco Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 I was flipping through Instagram and found some photos of a KK live on set of Project Smoke Season 2 with host Steven Raichlen. I confirmed with Dennis and learned that KK was chosen by Raichlen to represent the Kamado cooker. The photos being published show some very high end equipment and the on set staff seem to be in love with a 23" Ultimate!!This is really cool stuff!!!In this episode Raichlen cooks a pork belly on the KK!! Can't wait to watch this!!!
Rak Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 Thats great! I love that colour and I think I recognize the guy hugging the KK as the equipment manager, he makes a few appearances on the show when Steve needs stuff lifted! LOL Great PR Dennis, congrats
DennisLinkletter Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 Any idea when it will air? First show will be father's day in June How's this for a PLUG from Mr Raichlen? 1
MacKenzie Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 He sure knows what he's talking about.
tony b Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 His was one of the first BBQ books that I bought. It's still one of my "go to" sources.
ckreef Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Very kewl indeed. Will have to tune in when the show airs. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
Gnomatic Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Though S.R. didn't mention the grill used in a different post, I think it will look familiar to this crowd.
Poochie Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 I'm happy to see that Komodo Kamado is a movie star. I hope the sales go through the roof from the publicity.
kjs Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 Awesome. I would certainly expect this will boost sales through the roof. The cobalt blue will fantastic on camera!
GoFrogs91 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Too cool!

Benton
tony b Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 If anybody out there is sitting on the fence about buying one of these beauties, you'd better get your order in before this show airs, or you'll likely find yourself well back in the queue and waiting extra time to get yours!!

DennisLinkletter Posted January 23, 2017 Report Posted January 23, 2017 I was surprised to learn that 5 of the 10 best-selling BBQ books were authored by Steven. He has over 5 million books in print in 19 languages. I'd say he owns the category. Proud of KK's affiliation with Steven and Project Smoke. 3
