Aussie Ora Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 This is an interesting twist . https://kalamazoogourmet.com/products/shokunin-kamado-grill/. Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk 3
Pequod Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Crikey! Did you get a look at the price?? I'll take a BB32 over that any day. 2
Aussie Ora Posted September 26, 2019 Author Report Posted September 26, 2019 Yeah I know .would like to see it in action Crikey! Did you get a look at the price?? I'll take a BB32 over that any day. Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
MacKenzie Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Where is the rotisserie option? 1
jonj Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Weighs in at a "hefty" 250 pounds! It seems they haven't been around many kamados... That is practically anorexic. 2 2

That is practically anorexic. Should have applied the word "hefty" to the price. In terms of $$/Pound, they are definitely "HEFTY". 1
tony b Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 I liked the look of it, but definitely not the rest of the design and most definitely the price is insane! 1
Tucker Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 That is 'yikes' expensive per sq inch I second the idea, if spending that $$$, then a 32" KK is the way to go for a whole host of reasons. 2
Aussie Ora Posted September 28, 2019 Author Report Posted September 28, 2019 Would get a KK any day over this but good to see the Kamado market is catching tractionSent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
Bruce Pearson Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 Touch the outside when it is heated up and ouch, keep the little kids away. I love my KK it’s beautiful and functional
SSgt93 Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 It’s funny, I saw them liking my KK Instagram posts a few weeks ago so I clicked on their account and saw this new cooker. Kalamazoo is a pricey stainless company for sure. Their Gaucho Argentinian style grills start at 23K...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Pequod Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 This is kind of interesting. Refractory cement, etc. https://www.noori.com.br/?lang=en 2
MacKenzie Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 (edited) Yes, but did you see how burnt the food was? Edited September 28, 2019 by MacKenzie
Basher Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 Interesting, although Noori sport the Union Jack, it reads like english is their second language. The Kalamazoo Argentine grill is very sexy..... and expensive.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Pequod Posted September 28, 2019 Report Posted September 28, 2019 Yes, the Noori seems to be a bit like the Arteflame, another curious sort of grill I’m not interested in owning. 2
Braai-Q Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Kalamazoo are frightening price wise. I looked around for an Argentine Grill in the UK and everything was a bit crude and then I came across Ox Grills who were very happy to customise to my design. If I was paying what Kalamazoo are charging, I'd expect something of a transcendental experience. 2
Basher Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 Tekobo has opted for the same- Ox Grills. They look pretty good.
DennisLinkletter Posted September 29, 2019 Report Posted September 29, 2019 I don't want to sound judgemental but do they sound a little confused here with where to cook what? "Place the grate in the lowest position for a gentle heat, ideal for smoking “low-and-slow” barbeque," LOL 4
Aussie Ora Posted September 29, 2019 Author Report Posted September 29, 2019 Well spotted I don't want to sound judgemental but do they sound a little confused here with where to cook what? "Place the grate in the lowest position for a gentle heat, ideal for smoking “low-and-slow” barbeque," LOL Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
