  1. EGGARY, that is a beautiful chicken, lovely colour.
  2. Dozer, those ribs look wonderful, but they seem to have evapourated. Tony, wow, that is one fine looking pizza, top and bottom perfectly cooked and KK flavoured.
  3. Thanks, Shuley. Yes, I normally eat dinner several hours after a nice cooked breakfast then supper in the evening which is normally pretty lite. One of the advantages of being retired, one can eat when one wants. Our meals as a kid, were breakfast, dinner and supper.
  4. BIGSHEP, if only you had spoken soon, I could have happily accommodated.
  5. Set this up about 9:30 AM for dinner at a time currently unknown, don't know if it will be in 3 hours time or not but sous vide given lots of leeway time. Brined the chops overnight is a light brine, then rinsed in the morning and sprinked with granulated garlic and pepper. While the chop are in the bath at 139F made some stewed cranberries. Almost decided not to light the KK for searing the chops but why not and I'm glad I did. Plated. These chops were in the bath about 5 hours and they were tender and moist. Perfect for me.:)
  6. sfrew, your steak is looking very tasty to me.:)

  9. A great cook for fish lovers.
  10. Tekobo, you couldn't have watched a better game for your first. I'm glad you enjoyed it, what a way to start the day, 5 AM and it's hockey time or was it the end of the day?
  11. It won't belong now before I make the big trip to the post office, you should start the preparations. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]
  12. cachaaf, your dog has spirit and lots of it.
  13. That is a good lesson to learn, now the trick is to remember it. The meat looks perfectly cooked.
  14. Tony, wow, that was a real deal meal fit for the gentleman you are.
  15. Erik, I love the look of that steak, awesome dinner.[emoji4]
  16. Looks great, I must say you are brave , cooking fish for a non fish loving family. I understand their sentiment completely. [emoji4]
  17. Really I just want the best "team" to win no matter who it is. I didn't want my team to win with a shoot out.
  18. It is true both teams have the same opportunity, but we are a team and we should win or loose as a team. Sure it would have been nice if Canada had won for me but I didn't want it to be the way it was. The US did win the gold medal but "they" didn't beat us. I guess I would have been happier if we had been beaten by the team and vice versa. I want a team win.
  19. Bruce, I am with you on "I don't eat a lot of seafood..." but agree that cooked looked delicious, fortunately we didn't have to eat it.
  20. Gorgeous setup, stunning. It looks like you have some Komodo Kamado signs, those things are worth their weight in gold. I hope you kept them. Thanks for posting those pixs, we do love seeing them. Do you have your first cook planning?
  21. Or maybe a quick blot of the scallops after they come off the salt block. I would think most of the salt flavour would be on the edge.
